Dimash is fucking overrated if you know quality vocals you know what I mean if you are a vocal coach you should know better it's not how high your vocal can reach but it's about how you control and hit the right notes precisely but dimash is just making noise on my ears he's hitting highs but not in precise notes

It was 25 seconds in total, from the slide up on the way through his long melismatic phrase that he did. Impressive! You don't have to worry about people noticing what he does with his dynamics, we dears have known about all of this for years, including all of his different vocal colours and of course his range. And his amazing stage presence and emotive abilities.

The piano player wrote this song. This concert had various vocalists as guests on different songs, as the original vocalist of the group had died. The technique you called a vocal trill is something done by women in Dimash's part of the world during funeral ceremonies. Therefore by using it, Dimash was paying tribute to the dead singer. The man in the white shirt who stood up at the end is composer/promoter Igor Krutoy, who has since come out of composing retirement to write songs specifically for Dimash's range. I don't think many other singers will be covering them.

@Michael Pucher Sorry, I was just going on what I've read from other commenters, and if true, it would have been interesting information.(Though in Dimash's version of the song, it still could be a nod to the original singer, whether or not A-Studio was present.)
@casaspucon
@casaspucon 4 жыл бұрын
perhaps we will always be in doubt as to whether or not this "trill song" is "zhoktow". I don't think dimash responds, he is mysterious :) ... maybe we could ask az-studio :) in any case, that part, that "song of trill" for me is a cry or plea, totally consistent with the lyrics of the song.

@@freedomofspeech9023 Like I said above, this information came from reading what I had thought were informed comments about this song. I thought the information was interesting and relevant, though now it looks like it can't be trusted. How long following Dimash ? I discovered him totally by accident, during the 2017 Singer season, when I was looking for something by a guitarist I liked, and stumbled upon a reaction channel with a series of Dimash reactions on it. I didn't even know what a reaction channel was before that. I was hooked. I certainly won't be repeating this information, even though it has been confirmed in the past by other commenters more in the know than me.

The song touched you because you said he was singing so passionately in a language that was close to your own native language. But, I don't understand Russian, not a word. And yet, I feel every word he sings. He fills it with so much emotion that it transcends language. You have tears making your eyes glisten the whole song. But understand, this song has made me cry many of times. Dimash has an unparalleled and an undeniably huge vocal range, but his talent goes far beyond that. His skills are too many to list. However, I think his best talent is his ability to emote a song and touch a listeners soul. You and I are not alone in this. There is a reason people get addicted to his music. There is a reason people love him. There is a reason people are steadfast and loyal to him. There is a reason Dears are so protective over him. It's beyond human understanding. It's undefinable. And yet, it's real

Now our Dimash musical art is introduced in Cuba, and in no time he will steal everybody's heart as he did we us. This is how faithful we are to him. I am with everything you say to describe Dimash. The beauty of Dimash has much to do with his multi-dimensional depth and quality. He's truly an extraordinary human being. You can train and have support for a craft....but it doesn't mean gold status in outcome. Dimash has innate talent that you can't teach. But it is also his soul that is so rich. And then there's the confidence and lack of much fear that enables him to be so open and intimate with an audience. The colors her infuses into the music....and the teasing mystery that keeps you off balance...just enough to be delighted. I love that he has opened up quality music and beauty to cultures and generations who have not had that in their lives. It's a gift. Would love more Dimash....but, maybe if you could let the song play through as much as you can. It's enjoyable to listen and then comment. With Dimash...you are drawn in and just want to experience the music. He will prove to be a legend. The whole Divine package.

Yep that ceiling high belt and run down up then down again was 24 sec one breath. That song was written by the piano player for the band he was in I think A-Studio big hit in 1998. The lead singer was killed in a car accident, I believe this was a charity concert and Dimash sang as tribute, of course he put his spin on it. I just listened to an interview with Dimash and he calls his style Neo-Classical, yes he needs a lane all his own. I have always called music the worlds common language and I nominate Dimash as our embassador! PEACE

The trill you’re talking about is a new influence/trick he’s been working on a lot lately. What I respect the most about Dimash is even though he was naturally blessed he doesn’t rest on that. He’s always pushing himself to become better and learn new things when he really doesn’t have to. That’s true artistry!

Please reaction to "Love Is Like a Dream", it was composed by Igor Krutoy. He's the first gentleman standing at the end of this performance, giving Dimash the standing ovation!! Imagine the pressure Dimash had of having Mr. Krutoy in the audience. That's the first time most of us, < Dear>, got to see Igor. Soon after, He and Dimash gave us " The Love Of Tired Swans " ,"Mademoiselle Hyde", " Love is like a dream ", "Passione", "Know" and my favorite "Ogni Pietra" and the new masterpiece "Your Love".

The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique (traditional cazaq singing), is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist: Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio. The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

Perfect/lnformative Review, Loved it!!! Welcome to the World of Dimash, you're almost a "Dear/Dimashified". it's a beautiful journey filled with goosebumps, holding your breath trying to breed for him to sweating or getting hot, jumping out of your chair to all sorts of other honest reactions in awe and disbelief!!! No other singer touches your soul like Dimash, it happening across international borders. I'm addicted to his voice, my prescription in doses is 3×'s times a day.!🤔😂 Will keep watching!

6:19 the vocal technique that Dimash uses is called Yodel, only he does it so fast becoming a vibrato.

If you want to see all of Dimash's range, react to Unforgettable Day at Gakku concert. This man can hit a sustained D8 note. I ultra-strongly recommend this. You haven't heard ANYTHING until you hear his D8 whistle.

You appeared suddenly As if from a moonlit dream, Oh, if only you knew that I need you alone The rain keeps pouring down There were in fact some sleepless nights You alone manage to light my heart up like spring Give me, Give me, A slow burning fire in this misty weather Give me, Give me, A burning flame made up of sinful passion, day and night Eyelashes down cast at night Only to be surrounded by silence Forgotten sounds, hands, faces but I only need you Bewitched by you I will devour this potion until the last remaining drop The only one who is capable of possibly bringing me back is you darling, back to return to the world from the abyss Give me, Give me, A slow burning fire in this misty weather Give me, Give me, A burning flame of sinful passion that'll last day and night Give me,

Friendly advice: Know it's difficult with Dimash, but try not to pause in every major transition. You're totally missing the effect of the dynamic changes. Expect nothing but surprises from Dimash!

I'm sure we will receive a huge amount of Dimash reactions so I won't tell you to react to more Dimash because it's obvious 🤣🤣 So I will recommend you some other artists too: Park Hyo Shin - Wildflower Jonghyun - Y si fuera Ella (he would be 30 now but he died due to suicide at the age of 27 so it could be a tribute to him - a great artist) Vbexit - DNA (an accapella group, truly amazing performance) AKMU - a duet of a brother and sister (the brother composes their songs) Morisette Amon - Akin ka na lang So Hyang - Everyone

Hi Katriinka thanks for your reaction, the word "vibrato" is italian and the pronunciation is with a"dental-t" and not a "d" and the "o" is a closed "o" and not "ou" there was the right one when you used the translator was the first one sorry but you'll have to use this word often with Dimash he is a master in vibrato. Stay safe

And yes in this song it has got a little bit of everything Pop, R&B, Soul, Opera etc you name it..Good to have you back sweetheart . That little run in the end. the goat stuttering, I think it's called Melisma , correct me if I am wrong, comes from his culture tradition roots. I was born and grew up in Balkan we use a lot of that kind of thing of run. It does sounds so beautiful when especially singing by Dimash. This is a covering song from A'Studio band, here is the story when one of the members of this band died in car accident long time ago, Dimash knows the feeling of the meaning of this song , until he did surprised the rest of the band during this live performance..It is obvious!. Good strategy to process and analyze the song for not a long time though:). Stick with Dimash for a while , it is fun, learning, pleasure, everything. Take care of yourself.
