People looking for IT jobs people work on German skills as well. Secondly, if your priority is quality of life over money then move to Europe else if saving is your goal then India. I moved to Berlin while working in Accenture India with 34.5 L per annum as a DevOps Architect.. here in Germany, starting package will be 60-75k.. tax 43-45% .. Approx cost of living for 2 people.. 1 bhk with parking 1650€ grocery 300€ per month.. Restaurant per week 100€ Cost of clubbing and random shopping per weekend 100 € … gym per month 90€ Rest upto you if you have a car mortgage or other insurance.. Hope this is helpful.

You are correct, taxes are the major junk eating your pockets also the inflation is increasing year on year. I think if you want better standard of living move to Europe. If you want to earn better go to US ( high salaries + high standard of living )

In Berlin or Munich, if you want to live in a 3 room apartment (70 sqm), the rent, including bills, would be easily on average 1800 euros. So even with big salaries in big cities, you won't be able to save much. Also, 75K salaries would be with at least 2 years experience and in mostly IT sector. a fresher usually starts with 45k to 55K in most cases.

I completely agree with Kaustav is saying. I lived in Germany for 2 years, Austria for 1 year, Finally going back to India to save amount what amount what I am doing in EU. I have near to 10 years exp in Data field. My observations are as below, 1) Germany, Austria dont pay on the basis of Experience :-) It's just wrt job position. Hence, 3years =10years=15years=Same salary for the position 2) Salary ∝ (Language+Are you EU citizen!) 3) In India I can hike salary 3 times in 3 years by changing company. But, here TRUST is main factor. This place is not for JOB HOPPERS! 4) I came to EU to earn XXX money in 4-5 years and go back to India. But, I was wrong. This place is for only counting money! This is for Enjoy holidays, Work limited-efficient, Get settle here! Quote - You can choose to be with your family or focus on making money, but you can't have both at the same time. I have chosen family with decent money! 🙂

The basis a student without a job needs for a year in Germany is about 11.000,-€. And depending on the region (especially the rent) and how you want to live will add up. But on some websides (something with "Netto-Lohn' or 'Brutto-Netto') it is very easy, to calculate the net salary out of the gross salary.

One doubt... We are paying this much tax around 40 or something. Is there any situation or time when we can ask for tax return to us (not complete tax , a portion may be )...?
@bongingermany
@bongingermany 24 күн бұрын
40 percent is not completely tax. It contains many components. One is the pension contribution. Which can be withdrawn completely if you leave Germany before five years. After that, you will get it during retirement. Another component is the unemployment contribution, which you only get if you are laid off by the employer. Rest components are medical insurance and tax, which you cannot get back in cash, but you get back in kind. Some of the tax can be got back as tax return.

Summary of video: - "With an annual salary of €75,000 in Germany, after deducting annual expenses such as social contributions (€30,000), Rent (€14,000), shopping (€4,000), groceries (€3,500), and miscellaneous expenses (€500), the total deductions amount to €55,000. This leaves a remaining balance of €20,000 annually. Converting the remaining balance to Indian Rupees (INR) at an exchange rate of 1 Euro = 90 INR, the savings amount to ₹1,800,000. Thus, the monthly savings are approximately ₹150,000." Watching From Italy 🎉🎉 Congrats So genuine video 💕 U Brother

@@equinoxgaming6699 for couples it is different if one is working OR both are working. If only one is working then the expenses that you mentioned would take away a lot of savings. In that case your salary should be higher to accommodate these expenses.

So there will be a gap of 6 months after i quit my job and before I get admit. Will this gap be a problem while securing admission? Like in India if we have career gap even it is not considered safe. Is it same in germany also
@bongingermany

no. This gap can be justified as your search period for the degree. But try to search while working, and leave once you get admission. Because it might happen that you do not get admit from any universities. Then if you do not have a job and search for another 6 months, your gap will increase .

People are in fear while refuling their cars. And mainly all criminals in USA are targeting Indians because Indians are the wealthiest community in USA. As compare to that germany is far far better you have free masters and can travel to 29 countries. At last life matters not money. The tax is not 40%. It varies according to your taxable amount.
@bongingermany
@bongingermany 24 күн бұрын
What does that mean? Everyone knows tax is applied on taxable amount. There are five tax slabs in Germany, and if you watched the video, I mentioned that the slab varies but we can consider 40 percent as the average. Also, I mentioned that it is deductions, and not completely tax.
@ajitpati9324
@ajitpati9324 24 күн бұрын
@@bongingermany Yes but it's progressive. You are not taxed on your gross income. Until €10909 , your tax is zero. After that until €62000 your tax increases progressively. So your net tax comes somewhere netween 26%. After addition of insurance ,pensions and social care, it comes around 32%.
@bongingermany
@bongingermany 24 күн бұрын
@@ajitpati9324 yes you are right. So I guess this video is not targeted for people earning 10000 euros per annum. Secondly, as I said, I have mentioned in the video that the 40 percent is “deductions” not just tax. I have given a breakdown of the components involved. Also, I don’t know who pays 32 percent in deductions. That is way too less. Maybe married couple where only one of them earns or one partner earns quite high than the other. For most people who are not in that category (either unmarried or married but both earn almost equal amounts) the deductions are almost close to 40 percent.
