You are literally the only person I have ever heard complain about this bike. How funny.

I have a 2014 model of this bike. The rear passenger area is a little smaller than some others on the market but can be fixed. Suspension does have to be adjusted manually but you might expect that on a bike that costs a lot less than others. I’m 6’1 220lbs with 34” inseams. I have plenty of room. Also this bike has plenty of torque. I ride 1up, 2 up and tow a trailer with no problems. Many 2500mi trips says for the money these bikes are hard to beat.

I bought a 2015 with the Ivan flash already done which is a must. My wife and I have plenty of room, but she's pretty small so it all depends on your stature. We both love the ride!

That's what I was thinking. Tons of room on this bike. I'm 6'1" 220 and my wife is 5'9" 130 and zero issues. The guy also has no clue that you can adjust the suspension.

Did you pump up the 4-way rebound dampening rear shocks for the load that was going to be on the bike? This is critical when riding with a passenger. I don’t mean to be rude but you and your passenger greatly exceed the load limit of this bike which is 400lbs. So if you didn’t inflate the rear shocks properly that would cause the feeling of a “marshmallow ride”. I rode this bike with my wife and found tons of room and the suspension was great. I’m 6” and 210lbs, she is 5”5’ at 145 lbs. good luck with your bike search

You are totally correct. I have a new 2020 and it would be a mess if i was a 300 pound lard butt and then took another 300+ passenger. That's why he thinks there is no room on the bike.

My wife and I have ridden thousands of miles comfortably on this bike 2 up. We have plenty of room. We are of normal weight 180-170 and sometimes pull a trailer. My bike has been Ivanized and runs great. Has plenty of power and if you’re having the marshmallow feel, learn how to adjust the suspension. This machine loves the highway and I love this bike. 53,000 miles and climbing.

I own a 2010 version of this bike. I realise you're doing a test ride but to be fair to the bike and the purpose it is intended for you need to get it out on the open road and get it up to speed. In Australia, where I live, the national speed limit is 110km/h. This is how you should ride this bike it is not a bike for the stop/start riding of the city or commuter belt. The 6th gear is a highway over drive and when you couple that with the cruise control you get a good ride on the highway. I've ridden mine 2 up and had no problems with room for both rider and pillion but of course you're not in a car. Everybody is different based on their body type, leg and arm length but I've found the bars and the screen set up quite comfortable. The screen keeps the wind off, it can be removed if required. Opening the lowers/leg shields would give some airflow. I've clocked up over 90K/kms on mine and I've enjoyed every one of them. Other commenters have suggested you check the air pressure in the rear shocks if you finding the ride a bit soft especially with 2 on board.

I had the Stratoliner and my wife loved it but I did not like the small fuel tank and only five gears so I traded it for the Vision and lost some passenger space but I had plenty of space up front.

Does ivanizing make the bike faster/stronger in either top or bottom end? Ive been hearing about it but dont know what it does. Im considering switching from goldwing (f6b) because of the knee sitting position.

Oh! I got it. Yamaha Venture and you don't have to get a new one. The old ones have a V-four engine and a 5speed trans while the new ones have a V-twin and six-speed. Way better for Two up.

You helped me seal the deal. I really like your "marshmellow" description. That's the luxury ride I've been looking for so I'm going to test drive one of these bikes.. I'm one of the few left who haven't been brain washed by the so-called professional reviewers who tell folks that they should spend 2 - 3 times the price on a bike or car so they can "feel the road". Which in reality means the manufacturer saved thousands because there is no suspension and they've got all of you believing that is luxury. The more money I spend the more disconnected from the road I want to be. Ever heard of a Rolls Royce or Bently? If you've ever ridden in one you know that you don't "feel the road" and that my fiend is true luxury.

I thought I was watching the movie, experiment in terror with Stefanie Powers. If you have seen that movie, you will know exactly what I’m talking about. was there any excess heat being poured off of the engine/radiator. That is the one thing that would prevent me from buying one of these motorcycles, excess heat. I see by your videos you are interested in pocket knives and hunting knives I have a calamus, electricians knife that went through World War II in the Pacific, in the navy
