Lol Lebron leaving Cleveland twice is not a comparable to the Kawhi situation. Cleveland was actually home to Lebron and he left the first time because he kept losing, couldn’t recruit star free agents and the team was managed poorly in terms of drafting and making effective trades. The second time around he left the Heat for Cavs when they had prime Kyrie Irving who was a superstar they drafted and a blue chip prospect at the time in Andrew Wiggins who they flipped for Kevin Love to create their own superteam that won one title before a series of roster implosions and losing. Then Lebron went to Hollywood because his family wanted to live in the warm climate like Miami again but he also wanted to pursue a career in Hollywood during the tail end of his playing career and beyond with projects like Space Jam 2 and Trainwreck. The Kawhi situation is different he was already a champion who had a falling out with his former team due to the handling of his injury. He requested a trade but got moved as far away from his desired locale as possible. He wanted nothing to do with Toronto but he sucked it up and just focused with the roster he had to win another title which he inevitably did with the stacked gsw having injury misfortune. Kawhi made no promises he won a title, enjoyed the celebration, soaked up the praise before going back to his plan of moving home and trying to win titles there. Kawhi was not a native son and he just experienced winning during his one season stint here not the years of agony, losing and dissappointment that Lebron experienced in two separate stints with Cleveland.
