the japan fiba team looks pretty decent. Watanabe, Hachimura, Tominaga, Hawkinson, Baba and Kawamura are all solid players.

if i continues playing like this for the next 3 weeks, he'll be on the draft boards. If he can defend at a higher level, he'll be first round material, but he's not there. At 6'2 with below NBA average athleticism, I don't think he'll ever be capable of defending at a high level, but consistent elite shooting can make up for a lot of that. There's a video of him hitting 20 threes in a row when he met his new coach. This was just after getting off a 20 hour flight from Japan, without warming up, and wearing a sling bag over his shoulder lol.

Anybody playing defense?LOL nah... shooters like him don't need to defend that anymore. Every moment he touches the ball within the half court, he attracts 2 defenders and leave a teammate open. That's far more valuable in today's nba. btw I can't forget to mention he is a great cutter, ppl just started noticing

there should have been a better scouting report. in most cases if he goes right he’s shooting a jumper especially a step back. when he goes left he’s going to the basket or doing a floater.

Go look at Steph Curry and Giannis' physiques the years they were drafted... they're both skinnier than Tominaga. The NBA has the best Nutritionists and personal trainers in the world.. He'll be fine. Besides the NBA isn't overly physical these days anyways.

He'll likely give it a go in the G-League and maybe get called up a few times, but I can't see him playing more than a few games here and there before looking for something more consistent overseas (i.e., Europe).
