yeah, where I come from (Germany) tipping is truly just a bonus for really good service and otherwise just used to round up a bill to avoid small change ... also its pretty much limited to cash exchanges. Most people dont bother with tips when using electronic payments and most services dont even give the option to add a tip in apps/on webpages. With humane wages and strong social security in general noone needs to tip anyone. But I dont blame the US companies, its up to US workers and costumers to do more then moaning about the status quo ... for as long as they go along with such exploitation in docile compliance its fair game.

tipping is an idiotic practice. the owner of the business should pay them a reasonable wage and include any expenses such as gas for delivery. Tipping should be something you do for someone who helps you with out asking for anything. I work at a store and i help people its my job, but some times i go out of my way for a person and i don't even have to charge them anything for it -im being paid so i don't need it some times a person hands me a 10 or something and i don't wish to be rude but i also do not ask for tips. The problem is that people have to ask because their job isn't paying them enough -pay them a FAIR AMOUNT not poverty wages

If you don't want to tip, if you morally or spiritually or financially object to such practices, do not dine at places where you know wait staff depends on tips to live. THAT is the way to force employers to hear You and change the status quo. Stiffing your wait staff is just tuff luck for you, to employers otherwise. They chuckle all the way to the bank over the wait staff that got a $5 tip for a $180 meal for 8 people, 3 of them shrieking children under 5 that tried to stab them with the forks. Dining and being waited upon isn't a right, it's a privilege. You pay for it, one way, or another. If you can't afford a tip, stay home and cook your own food, serve you own family, wash your own dishes and Feel Superior in a whole new way!

Trump's shares only have that worth if he sells that at that price. It's true value, isn't the one of the launch bubble. I'm more outraged by the literally unjustified leeway, and reduction he was given with the looming half a billion fee he was facing being reduced by a third. That he'll clearly try to say should be the final penalty, and the equally inexplicable extension he received!

Also, the recent threats to a Judge's daughter and the dissemination of images of Biden tied up in rope as a lynch mob prisoner attracts no action at all. But Kathy Griffin went through hell for a legitimate visual gag. Makes me sick.
