It’s May 27th. I found your channel today for the 1st time. I find myself watching the funeral service for a young man I never knew…..and now wish I had been able to spend some time with him and his family! What a beautiful son to whom you apparently gave the most important lessons for life. I credit his momma for the beautiful life and friends he lived and loved and for the joy he experienced because of what he had been taught. I’m sure God had a special place waiting for him. I may have cried through the entire service, but I still saw and felt all the love for Ray. Your son touched so many lives with his positive outlook and humor. Ray will be missed and never forgotten. This is beautiful Kelly. I lost my niece of 27 years old and my husband at 42 years old from cancer. It is a horrible disease. I am so sorry you’re having to go through this. Watching this was of course heartbreaking but it was so wonderful to see just how loved by so many people Ray was. Kelly first I want to thank you for sharing Rays goodbye. My heart breaks for you and the girls. For his family of friends I pray your heart heals but never forget such a beautiful soul. I have cried through his journey, and cry today saying goodbye. I don’t know what it’s like to lose a child. I hope I never do. Losing my husband was hard enough. Kelly, you showed us a side of you that was so vulnerable but did it with grace. Ray was a beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing him with your diy family. I will never forget Ray. Just Beautiful Kelly. Your son at his young age obviously had a very strong influence on this world! You have every right to be very proud. I truly believe he is now resting peacefully in the arms of God. I’m sure he is smiling down on all of you now. I can’t begin to imagine your pain, life in this world can be so very unfair and heartbreaking. Never did I ever think I'd cry so much over a family I never met. I think as a mom with only one son and 3 daughters, this made me bawl 😭😭😭.....Kelly, sending you and your family so many hugs, a lot of love and tons of prayers to make through the day❤️❤️❤️.

Same here cried the entire time . I’ve been in grieve mode for 4 years and this just adds to more grief to feel. I wish I could take the pain away. This is one of the hardest loss any mother endures.

Kelly, having my only son be about Ray's age, I can't tell you how my heart aches for you. Listening to all the tributes, the pictures, all of it, you see what a great young man he was that you raised and he became. The clock, that got me, first to honor his mom ❤️, then the time he left, I have no words.💔😭 Prayers to you all and the biggest hug I can give to you from across the miles.

I feel like I actually knew Ray and praying for him and you every night since he was diagnosed, I felt that I knew his heart. What a special human being. Everyone that spoke of Ray talked about his kindness. You raised an awesome Son. The bible says to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. So I know you will see him again and I will have the pleasure of sharing the joys of Heaven with you both. Ray loves you very much and will watch over you until then. I love you Kelly. This broke my heart to pieces. Watching this felt like I was present amongst his co workers. Wow, your son Ray was an amazing kiddo. He definitely will be missed. He touched so many lives in a positive way. For his sister to say she would want Ray to have been the one to walk her down the aisle says very much about your son.
