@@JohnSmith-bk6ec I mean it is not even sure he slept with their victim..judging by his testimonies and his interviews I wouldn’t be surprised if he lied about sleeping with her to burst his ego. It’s hard for me to believe anything he says and while it is possible his partner ordered him to kill it seems more likely to me he has done it himself (and even if she did say smth like that: it doesn’t mean he is not responsible)

I went to high school with Adrianne, played on the soccer team with her. This was a horrific nightmare for all of us. Thank goodness David and Diane were stupid enough to talk , because they actually got away with it originally and probably would have stayed that way if Diane hadn’t bragged. Craziest part was that Adrianne’s memorial service was private and by invitation only because her murder was unsolved and the family didn’t want her killer to be able to attend. But guess who was on the invitation list? The soccer team and cross country team. And guess who was on the cross country team? David. He actually showed up to her memorial. Piece of trash human. Adrianne deserved so much better.

I'm so sorry Hun for your loss. One thing to try and remember is that Adrianne will never ever be forgotten. I watch a ton of true crime stories and Her story is actually one that has always stuck with me and hit me in the heart ever since I heard of who she was and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. Again I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. She seemed like such a beautiful soul. Hearing people talk about her I can see the way they light up in the eyes because she was so special and I can also see the pain in their eyes. She was so young and had her whole life ripped away from her all because one person couldn't handle it. It's heartbreaking! Hope your doing well! My heart goes out to everyone who loved and adored her. ❤

OK, I do to agree ....to an extent. If the 3rd party knows your not single then they are somewhat also to blame. It's not their fault you cheated, but if they are also in a relationship, then they are Cheating as well. I'm not victim blaming at all. I also think he may have sexually assaulted her and she just didn't have enough time to process the shock and tell someone. This is the 90s, and less women came forward then. He told Diane that he slept with her and all this happened to cover up him being such a pos. I don't think the victim was at all to blame. Maybe just in the wrong place, wrong time. If not her, it would've been another girl. I feel terrible for her family, but not for either of the couple or their families. Fuck them. They can rot there.

I have a sneaking suspicion he never actually slept with Adrianne even. Hear me out: He clearly is a manipulative sociopath. He literally blames everyone else for everything, and how he described the alleged sexual encounter? He probably lied about to his girlfriend to get a reaction out of her (upsetting people literally excites these types), then lured Adrianne out by saying "Can you reassure my girlfriend that we haven't slept together, she thinks we did." Getting dragged into some random couple's drama and being accused falsely would cause anyone, let alone a teenager with little experience, to be agitated and anxious like Adrianne's mother said she was after the call. The poor girl. 😢😢😢 Edit: I wrote this midway through. So glad I'm not the only one who saw this. Kendall, thank you for what you do. Your focus on the victims and their families, instead of the killers, is what this world needs more of. ❤️

Point A is a sign of a weak-minded person. It's normal to be angry at both parties. But to put more blame on the person the SO is cheating with, than the SO, is a cop out. It's the SO who committed the greater betrayal. It's the SO that had the trust, and the obligation to be faithful. It's easier to blame someone else. It's more difficult to face the reality that it's probably time to let go of the SO. It's easier to blame an outside source than to realize loyalty and trust was misplaced and betrayed. The other party, if they knew the SO was taken, is also to blame, of course. But the SO is the greater betrayer. Exceptions being cases where the "intruder" is a family member, friend, or other person with an expectation of trust, like a religious leader, boss, mentor, or professor/teacher.

Listening to the witness testimonies, the most telling one was from the friend who said Adrianne went home and she dropped her home herself. The story may be that David might’ve hit on her or suggested a fling and Adrianne turned him down for obvious reasons. Since his pride was wounded, he decided to lie to Diane because he knew she would flip out. Diane reacted exactly the way he thought she would react and the only extreme way to fix the situation; David’s wounded pride and Diane’a jealousy, was to murder Adrianne. It sounds far fetched but a lot of times, murderers will downplay or belittle the victim after they are deceased because of their anger/resentment towards them. David told the officers that his sexual encounter with Adrianne was less than exciting. If she didn’t have sex with him and turned him down, so it never happened, what’s another way to dirty her name after her death? Make her out to be a sexual deviant and say that she wasn’t sexually entertaining.

Yeah - no such thing exists. There are couples that really work well together, still love each other after decades and so on, but even they have their struggles, problems and fights. You can be in a great relationship, but it will never be perfect, because we are humans and none of us is without fault… I also completely agree that from the outside you just can’t know how a relationship really is. Of course if things are reall wrong, there are signs, but just because there are no red flags on first glance it’s certainly doesn’t make the couple perfect.

@@emmyklem5683 The first go around yes, but she told her and her roommates MULTIPLE times and none of them said anything. I’m sorry, but if someone I didn’t know and just met told me some crazy crap like that, I’m going to say something. Not only that, she started dating a guy at the Naval Academy on the sly without telling David and she told him too. He also didn’t say anything-that’s how “madly in love” he was with her. She manipulated all of them into not telling at first. This is why Jessica and the rest of the roommates and Diane’s boyfriend all got kicked out of the Naval Academy for honor violations. They also got an RF code on their DD-214’s from the Naval Academy blocking them from going into the Navy or Marine Corps because of their initial involvement in the cover up. Her new boyfriend actually tried to get into the Marine Corps, but got kicked out during basic over this. It took the Marine Corps to do the background check (back then it took 2-3 weeks, but they let you start basic) and when they found out what happened, they threw them out. This is why all of them never pursued a military career afterwards some other way. Nowadays with computers, they could find that out right away before you even ship out.

Never forget… it takes TWO to tango! Don’t be mad at the person they cheated with, be mad at your partner. You have no idea what your partner may have told them. Your relationship is what matters and what your partner did is what you should be focused on. Sure you can be mad and upset, but don’t go after the person not in your relationship. It happens too often and people need to stop blaming 1 person and remember they made their decisions together. Your partner strayed from the relationship, discuss it with them.

@@staceykersting705 Virginity is important to a lot of people, including me. Not every religious person is "brainwashed". Most of us just have values that make us feel good and help us to protect and control certain aspects of our lives. Rather than living with no rules or morals. The problem is that she tried to "save" their purity the completely wrong way. And like Kendall said, what's done is done. Once purity or virginity is gone there's no getting it back. She should've accepted that loss and just tried to have David do better moving forward. (I am still aware that it's not confirmed whether David and Adrienne actually had sexual relations or not)

@@albani_christina Clearly, in this case, reason was thrown out the window. Are u REALLY going to give her kudos on her ridiculous 'virginity obsession' that drove her to this murder plot. U don't have to be a conservative 'Christian' to have better morals than that. There are a lot more to morals than keeping your legs crossed. Some of these churches don't even have enough morals or compassion to shelter the homeless in freezing weather, so...no, I don't get their 'morality'. May kindness rule the day.

Kendall, if you’re reading this, have you ever heard about the Josh Maddux case? The poor guy was found in a chimney, 2 blocks from his home 7 years after he dissapeared. There are some Reddit posts about the case, and apparently Josh was friends with a guy from his high school who has been tied to several murders, one of them was a disabled guy. It’s a case that’s not that well known, which is so sad for the family left behind. Joshua deserves to get justice, which is why I hope you could cover this story. Many thanks 🙏
