Nice project. Thanks for not being too self-important. Creativity is the heart and soul of woodworking and fabrication, so I’m kinda tired of all the channels that focus on their Festool collection rather than the project itself. I have nothing against high-end tools, but if you’re not going to do a project unless you have the most impressive tools available, you might as well make videos of your cats. I get asked all the time, “Which tools should I buy first?”, by beginning woodworkers. I always tell them to buy what they can afford right now. That way they can get started…right now. When I first started building furniture I had a bunch of old, second-hand tools that were given to me by my dad, or I’d bought at yard sales. I still have and use some of those tools now, forty years down the road. I have invested in some of the newer, high-end stuff, and I can tell the difference, but I only replace what doesn’t work anymore. I have a Delta saw that my dad bought in 1978. Still runs true.

@@azy6868 Which drum company makes drums this way? I've been looking all over the internet since you posted your comment, and I can't find an example of a drum that was made using this technique. Of all the dozens of drum sets I've owned during the 48 years I've been playing, and the five drum sets I currently own, none were made using this method, and you'd make my day if you have one, or know where one is. Do you have the company's or manufacturer's name? I'm genuinely curious where you found a drum made this way. A picture would help me work out the logistics of building one. If you have their website I'd really appreciate it if you would post the link. Thanks. ✌️❤️
