One of the best things to come out of this whole situation was that I found Mark Wildman’s vids and discovered that kettlebells are fucking awesome.

Thanks for the videos, short and to the point, while still really informative. As another transition move towards a full getup. What do you think of a standing clean, transitioning through a reverse lunge, then the half kneeling press. Back to the standing position.

Hey Mark, I just stumbled upon your channel. Digging the kettlebell information with the focus on technique. I am new to kettlebells, but been working out for years. Looking to put together a 45 minute (ish) full body or push/pull/legs kettlebell routines. Scanning through your videos I wasn’t sure where to begin. Do you have suggestions? One of your videos you said, using the light/medium/heavy kettlebells over a year and half will produce some great results. What routine were you referencing. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you for a great channel.

Two questions: With barbell press, it's especially said that the elbows should point relatively forward. Why with kettlebells you press from with an externally rotated shoulder and should you press like that with dumbbell also. Second question: When I overhead press, my back starts to hurt between the spine and the left scapula and underneath it. When doing OHP with barbell it helped to not let my elbows flare at all ie. keeping them almost pointing straight ahead. Any tips on how to fix that with kettlebells? Would just starting with a light weight that doesn't hurt and then progressing from there be enough? How much volume does the nerd math prescribe between weight transitions?

He's referring to the grip. Squeeze the handle like you want to "crush" it. For really heavy weights, also squeeze the other hand into a tight fist, this boosts power. If using a lighter weight, you could actually open your hand. Some people finish a kb snatch with the hand open overhead.
