Now this is a useful little demo. Get to hear the bass in context, it's not flashy slapwork, and you get a feel for how this bass sounds both in a lead and supporting role. It doesn't hurt that the bassist is phenomenal, either.

One of the best videos for this bass that I've found. Some great tones from the Dimensions - something lacking in some of the other videos I've seen. Thanks for letting us hear what this bass can really sound like.

At 1st it was hard 2 hear the bass, .. but it wasn't long b4 it kicked off ! Good sounding bass , . and good musicianship !

I’ve said this before but the dimension in my opinion is useful for getting a mini moog tone I’ve yet to apply my dimension in this way but when a song comes up where you want that tone I doubt I could get it from a jazz or a pbass

Interesting that I haven't seen this demo... of course, Fender's bass demos are quite often incredibly lame and it seems they go out of their way to get horrid tones. This actually sounds good and is performed by a competent bassist. I like the sound of the Dimension bass... but then I'm a huge fan of Music Man basses. I can see this bass fitting many styles of music.

What a horrible recording. Bass is supposed to be featured but is doesn't cut through at all. Little to no distinction at all. This video doesn't do this bass any good. I was considering this bass but after hearing this I'd rather have a stingray tbh.

Well, if you make your decisions based on a KZfaq video, you are in trouble. I suggest use your brain a bit more and do some more research.

This bass isn't available locally to try or I would. I haven't seen/heard any good videos of this bass. You would think Fender would make sure it wasn't so burred in the mix but maybe that's the sound they produce...and maybe it explains why this bass was a flop and has little interest among players.

Are you kidding? This is one of the few Fender videos that sounds halfway decent. Even in my lame computer speakers, this bass sounds SO much better than most Fender bass videos. If I based my buying on the videos, I'd think most of the P-basses and J-basses sound like crap--thin and wimpy. But then, I know that's not the case in real life. But the bass in this video actually has some balls.
