The lady who burned herself at McDonald’s suffered 3rd degree burns up her legs. She only asked for her medical bills to be paid and McDonald’s denied responsibility so she took it to court. The gorilla glue girl didn’t accidentally put that on her hair.

The question is whether that is common knowledge. Vagueness like that is gonna be interpreted in favor of the person who didn't put that on the bottle. If it can be shown that there is a product that is harmful to skin that is not harmful to hair, then I think she has a stronger position.

That is like expecting someone to tell me the cycle of photosynthesis, what the building blocks of fats, carbs, and proteins are. Yes, we learn things in passing that do not become common knowledge. Plus, there are products in which they are harmful to the skin and not the hair. There are chemicals makeups that differentiate hair, nails, and epithelial skin.

I remember Nipplegate really well. Janet was wearing three pieces of clothing. A sheer top, patent leather boustier and a bra. Justin tore ALL THREE PIECES! He was supposed to just tear one piece. He made the mistake and never took accountability for it. Then, the following week he threw her under the bus at the Grammys. I will never see it for him. Even the dancers were like we rehearsed this and he didn’t execute it the way it was supposed to go at rehearsals. The fact that he built his career on rejected MJ songs is just too much.

I completely agree! There's no way this was done completely on accident. I find it hard to believe no brush bristles or anything also got stuck in her and none of it got on her skin. However, if it was an accident, it's still on her for not using common sense thinking she can use an industrial glue on her head.

Nope nope, she did a radio interview and she said she went to a hospital after about 2 weeks and said she went to a hospital then but they said it would take 20 hours to get out so she left. She’s also a teacher and DIY craft maker ... so um she knew better. Now that she’s getting bigger she’s going back and deleting things from her social media too. That says a lot. AND SHE KNOWS HOW TO DO HAIR !!! She was trying to sell hair products at one point.

I have zero sympathy for this lady. I'm sorry, but common sense should tell you that if the glue is not safe to body on your skin or body, then it should not go in your hair. My issue with the Gorilla Glue Girl situation is that this shows just another example of lack of consumer awareness. The lawyer knows that his argument is a load of root 'n toot - if the glue can't get on your skin, how could you POSSIBLY put it in your hair??? And, listen, as a black girl with a mom that didn't teach me much about my natural hair, I've made a mistake or two. However, my mistakes have been about stuff like using the wrong growth oil or layering products incorrectly - never about bonding my hair to my scalp through hell and high water! I've just entered my 20s so, forgive me, but I just think that common sense ain't common enough in this case, ESPECIALLY due to her age. A simple Google search would've let miss girl know that she didn't need to be playing with nothing that don't have hair specified on the label.

@pat p What clarification is needed? The bottle says not to make contact with skin and it's sold in the hardware section. She should have used common sense and not sprayed the bottle all over her head. Im honestly amazed that she didnt have other things get stuck in her hair with the glue like brush bristles.

What I don’t understand about the Brittany thing is that if they thought she was mentally unstable enough to need a conservatorship then why is there so much weight placed on her agreeing to it? Y’all thought she was crazy right? So a crazy person agreed. She didn’t know better back then. 🙄🤷🏽♀️

My understanding is that they presented this as a short term thing. I believe that the conservatorship wasn't suppose to be 10+ years and her father took advantage of the situation. My issues is this grown woman is supposedly "mentally unstable" enough she has to get permission to use her cell phone, drive a car, get married, etc BUT she is stable enough to do 2 tours, a Vegas residency, released 4 albums, had performed at awards shows, etc since this conservatorship started.

They also had custody/visitation issues wrapped up in agreeing to that conservatorship. According to the documentary, Kevin Federline had full custody (and I think she had lost even the ability to visit them at that time). If she agreed to the conservatorship, a visitation/custody agreement would be arranged and she'd get see her kids again.

They will fight this in court to set a precedent and she'll run out of money first. She has no case, this would be like someone suing Jim Beam cause they used whiskey to clean their contact lenses. That is clearly not a reasonable use for the product even if it doesn't directly say it on the label.

Considering the fact that she faces permanent scalp/skin and potentially some internal damage from the toxins of the glue, finesse is the opposite of the word I'd use. Pretty much the worst way to get a payout. No, she used an extreme measure to try and create an appearance that isn't natural to the way she was created biologically. And that is sad to me.

Someone made a valid point. It was probably a joke and it blew up and she created a Go Fund Me, but then she went to the hospital. It became suspicious when she didn't stay for them to perform the treatment. After all, she kept that fake ponytail still attached after visiting the ER. They noticed her ponytail was still neat even though she washed it 15 times. The theory is, she put Gorilla glue after the fact. And the original hair style was probably just regular hard setting hair gel.

My husband is in love, because my recipes on my own were not creative 🤣😂 But I started choosing the meals that we might like, then checking out the recipe cards before ordering to cut down on the prep work during the week.

@@moni7997 You pick the meals by the number of people you are feeding (2,4,6, etc) . There are no odd numbers, ie: 3 people. However, when I order the 4 person and there are only 3 of us, my husband takes the leftovers for lunch or we use it when we make 2 person recipes that week and my daughter drops by & eats that extra meal. There is NEVER any waste. I am amazed at how they send the exact amount. I don't go grocery shopping anymore except for almond milk, toiletries, etc. So the cost replace my normal grocery shopping and has turned out to be less than I would normally spend at the store. Everything is fresh, not frozen and meant to be used that week. Yes, you order weekly.
