► DESCRIPTION
In this tutorial I will show you how to realistic render CAD 3D models in KeyShot. This tutorial contain step by step workflow, so if you are beginner you will be able to understand it and achieve same results.
The main idea of this tutorial is to show you how you can easily create realistic product visualization in KeyShot with simple 3D model. In the beginning of this tutorial we are gonna change 3 fundamentals things, Camera View, Environment Lighting, Lighting Settings. We are gonna create custom camera and camera view, then I will show you how to create custom lighting. We are gonna create all the materials and also we are gonna create labels on the bottle. We are gonna create light pins to light up our 3D model, then I will show you how to use KeyShot rendering settings for sharp render images without noise. I am also going to show you simple Post Production in Photoshop at the end of this tutorial.

Hello, I got pretty old workstation, Intel Core i7 7700K, NVidia gtx970, 16gb ram, and 500gb m2, I am rendering in CPU mode :-) If you got slower computer you can use basic rendering mode in KeyShot, and then when you finish all the materials and composition you switch to the product rendering mode at the end :-)

@@textureman thanks for your replay when i open keyshot 11 CPU goes to 100% to basic mode if i do GPU mode graphic card goes to 100% There is no problem with this? I have 10700k RTX3070 ram 32GB 1gm m2

This is absolutely alright :-) When you rendering something you want to go CPU or GPU on 100 percent, that means all of your horsepower working, so that means you will have better performance and much more samples in shorter time. Every rendering application trying to use 100 percent of your capacity. Open scene in the KeyShot and press H on your keyboard, it will show you head-up display in viewport and you can see how much FPS you got. If you want to use less than 100 percent you can see on the left-top corner CPU or GPU Usage, and you can choose how much % percent you want to use. When you use 50%percent of your power, you will going to see in that head-up display you are rendering slower, so ALWAYS USE 100 percent to render faster :-) 100% percent of GPU or CPU = faster preview / faster render For example :-) 2 exactly same cars on the straight racing track, one is going with full-100% throttle and second with half-50% throttle, which one going to finish track / render faster? the car with 100 percent or full throttle :-) Basic mode its not such a complicated as product rendering mode. So that means in Basic Mode you will reach more samples in exactly same time as product Rendering Mode, but you will achieve less quality. So you trade quality for speed if you need.

How to save rendered images as clowns for photoshop editing?

In the render output window you just check box clown layer, and it will save your render as two separate images at the end. Your normal render, and clown layer render.
