Are you able to export that HDRI as exr/hdr for use in other programs?
@textureman
@textureman 2 ай бұрын
Yes or course, after you create this HDR image in the KeyShot, you can save it or export it, then you can use it in the different rendering engines.

How to make glitter. I never seen good glitter on keyshot. Like what you see on boats motorcycles and guitars.
@textureman
@textureman 2 ай бұрын
If you want to create a good car paint with a glittering effect or some kind of sparkle effect, perhaps a good way is to download something from the Cloud Library in KeyShot. However, I've never created that effect before, so I can't really help you with this topic.

Subscribed just because it is one of the most comprehensive guide to understand the whole process. One thing to ask... How you made the r Color layers above the main headphone 🎧 in photoshop... Thanks
@textureman
@textureman 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the sub! I really appreciate your feedback. If you're referring to the small 'R,' which is a symbol indicating which side of the headphones is which, it's essentially done in Photoshop and it's in the same texture as the wireless logo on the side. So, when I applied my wireless logo texture to the headphones, the 'R' on that texture was automatically applied to the inner side as well. The entire 3D model is UV unwrapped. If you don't have a UV-unwrapped 3D model, you just need to manually place that small 'R'.

KeyShot is essentially a standalone application for 3D visualization. It's a paid software, but you can apply its fundamentals in any other 3D rendering engine.

How are you able to zoom in so far at 1:38? When I try to zoom close to my model it just stops at a certain distance.
@textureman
@textureman 4 ай бұрын
Hello, I am using scroll wheel on the mouse, but if you got problems zoom in the main reason is scale of the 3D model, its so small or to big in the units, you just need to scale your 3D model.

nice videos i have one question i want to have the same hd render with less time rendering what should i do what engine should i use i wanna keep the high quality what do u recommend
@textureman
@textureman 5 ай бұрын
Hello, that's a really good question, and there is a simple solution for it. I am using custom render settings because it provide the best quality, and I am not very much limited by time since I am doing overnight renders. If you want to reduce the rendering time, use maximum samples instead of custom control settings. When using Maximum Samples render settings, you can also control not only samples but, in the newer version of KeyShot, you can also control Pixel Blur, which creates smooth edges on the renders. This option is very beneficial, and in KeyShot 9, it is missing (it's only available in custom control). If you have a newer version of KeyShot, you can render every scene in Maximum samples and Pixel Blur 1.5, and you will achieve almost the same render with just a fraction of the render time. Don't forget that if you are rendering through Maximum Samples settings, all the lighting settings are taken from the Lighting tab at 18:05 - Lighting Settings. Thank you for your feedback and support :-)

Hello, I have a slightly older machine, but it can do the job. You don't really need a supercomputer for KeyShot. Of course, with a faster computer, it's a much more pleasing experience to see the preview faster. My specifications: Intel Core i7 7700K NVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB MSI Gaming M3 Motherboard DDR4 16GB 2400MHz Adata XPG S11Pro M.2

Hello, if you don't have this exact texture in your KeyShot library, don't worry. You can use something similar that you can find in KeyShot or download a similar one from the internet. However, you will likely need to adjust the scale, brightness, and contrast to make it looks similar.

Hello, try to delete plane and create new plane again, but be careful, ground plane and plane are two different things. Make sure you are going to edit tab on the top of the KeyShot Edit - Add Geometry - Plane. Than you point your cursor on this plane, right click on the mouse and you press move this object. I hope this will help with your problem.

why dont you upgrade to gpu system than cpu
@textureman

Good question, I am old school but this year I will upgrade my whole computer 😊 when I was learning about rendering I was working mainly in mental ray and V-Ray and these two render engines back in the day was primary designed for CPU. These days GPU is much more faster and results are more close to CPU rendering 😊

Why are you rendering on the CPU and not the GPU?
@textureman
@textureman 11 ай бұрын
There is some advantage, with CPU you got much more cleaner image, and it looks little bit different in some cases in very specific materials. On the other hand GPU is much more faster. In this case it doesn't really matter but I prefer to use CPU over GPU cause all my power is in the CPU.
