This Sam Mewis interview with Bunny was impeccable. Sam was prepared, respectful and gracious. I hope her podcast grows. Bunny Shaw has become one of my favorite person to follow since 2018. She’s a beacon of hope in sports in Jamaica and a living legend.

This is an incredible interview. Bunny’s stories are so captivating and her journey is unique. From guarding the goal in front of the gate to her family’s home, befriending Jamaican track stars in college, to rejecting the NWSL draft, scootering around in Bordeaux, to being friends with Raheem Sterling at Man City….what an incredible number of stories and diverse experiences!!! Well done and thank you Bunny and Sam

I recently started watching the WSL and I fell in love with this man city team instantly because of the players. I get so excited everytime I get to watch Bunny play. Such a great interview and inspiring story!

Honestly, BEST INTERVIEW EVER!! 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️. Omg, how AMAZING and cute is Bunny, not to mention sooo articulate and insightful. She is a breath of fresh air..i’m Soo gutted for her, and (as an Avid City fan 🩵) for me, re her injury. Hope she gets back to full fitness in as unproblematic way as is possible 🙏 .

Hello Sam. I have commented elsewhere on how well Hemp and Kelly have really terrified defences earlier in the season, but without a striker like Bunny on the end of things, it would not have been half as good. I hope she gets well soon. With help from a player the Aussies seem to love, Mary Fowler and Kelly coming back into the team, they can still make it an exciting end to the season for Bunny and us too, no doubt. They just need plenty of carrots, maybe steamed and served with a bit of fresh made butter? It would be interesting to see them play against European opponents, next season, with the style of play discussed, though Kelly and Hemp are reported to be on the menu for other European teams. I wonder if talk about Ewa Pajor is instead or in addition to Barcelona wanting Hemp. I joked on a Barcelona video comments, that they wanted Hemp, so another Jamaican, Usain Bolt, would wear their shirt.

I've never watched Bunny or knew much about her because I haven't started watching games/teams outside of the NWSL (yet!!). But wow she's amazing! I loved this interview. Bunny is so fun to listen to. I hope her path to recovery is as smooth as possible. Sending her the best vibes!!

Such a good interview! Would love to see an interview with Jen Beattie. She's talked a little on the podcast with she helps host with Sky sports about her transition to the nwsl and would love to hear her be able to talk in much longer interviewer formate.

Thanks for posting this interview. I was cheering for the Reggae Girlz during the World Cup; they were so much fun to watch. I hope Ms Shaw has a full and speedy recovery. Sam, try to break away from your notes. It makes you look less genuine, like someone gave you a list of things to say.

I agree, Sam does need to get the notes side of things sorted (like Alex Scott) because I tend to notice her referring to her notes every time I watch one of her interviews.
