Redesigned 2021 Kia Sorento looks really good in this exterior & interior color. Maroon exterior with same color interior would be my choice. Once viewing in person, am sure will like Sorento even more. Night driving review really adds to the scope of this vehicle. Slainte' ! Cheers !

Good they kept the plastic wheel arch and side protection, for many the Sorento is still a workhorse to pull trailers with construction equipment, hope same goes up for the transmission.

The headlights kinda remin me on the DS7 Crossback - I don't know, if you guys get that one in Korea. It's a French brand with premium claim, but the daytime running lights are different. Acutally the Sportage isn't the direct competitor for the Palisade, but the Telluride, which is only available in the USA.

I really liked Kia Sorento design hope Kia Thailand they will be import to sell here and produce the right steering wheel soon it's looking much better than Japanese SUV especially the interior I loved.

Great review! 😃 I also like that vehicle bcuz it's very stylish inside. I'm not fond of the gear shifter knob. I don't like the battery being under the vehicle. It need more powerful engine and I prefer gas rather than hybrid model, although it's still pretty. Thank you for sharing this review with us.😁😍

The exterior style is beautiful and i love the color. Most of the interior is nice, but i just don't like the airvent design. I prefer the design you get with the Peugeot 3008 or 508.

I agree, the knobs and buttons are safer than touch sensitive. Is their a way to use the voice control for temperature changes etc..My 2006 Honda Pilot included that feature on the steering wheel. I really like the new gauge cluster.

Still waiting for a strong engine option: The Diesel has not shown a real improvement since the 2010 Sorento XM (197hp) and now they added a quite small hybrid variant. Why not a combination of electric motor with the new 2.5 Liter engine? Other issue: Kia is still struggling with noise reduction, especially in the Diesel.

Hi Charlie, thanks for giving us an evening drive of the Hybrid so we can experience the interior lights at night. It seems the hybrid system in this vehicle is pretty decent, although I would have preferred they use a different system, with some more power, for an SUV. It seems like the transmission is like the one in my 2017 Optima hybrid, certainly shifting in an economic way. I'm curious to see a vehicle with a 2.5T and how that perform, you getting one of those soon?

Charlie- are you hearing anything about a fully redesigned Sportage for the U.S. market? Would it possibly be the KX5? I think KIA has put themselves into a bind with the Seltos being larger than expected and not leaving a whole lot of space for the Sportage to fit between both the Seltos and Sorento.

I am a little disappointed a car with 230 hp probably because of transmission can't accelerate as expected. For instance x3 with 190 hp does probably better. Or Rav 4 hybrid approximately same horsepower 0-100 in about 8 sec. The design, usefulness and as I understood material quality are good enough.
