I have to imagine it must be a confidence booster for your own Kickstarter to be able to pick the brains of those who have been through it (or are currently going through it)! I have to check more of Ken's art, but I can see some traces of Michael Turner in his art, which is highly praised, and it is always a good thing to have more of that approach in comics today.

Yes, he does have Mike's influence. He worked for Aspen Comics for quite some time as well!

Quality looking book as well as KS with a fun concept. I will say I heard someone recommend only putting 1 stretch goal up on initial launch, then after a few days once you have a gage of what the numbers are and maybe, to plan out the rest then. (Since the campaign only reached the 1st goal, IDK if that's a strategy that might have worked in his favor. Just a thought.)

Yeah, there's so much that goes into launching and then fulfilling a campaign--that I don't have any personal experience with yet. I have asked my colleagues their approach is a lot of it is different. Thank you for that info, I'll see if I can search out that info!

Missed the premiere due to work obligations, but got a chance to listen this afternoon. Beautiful artwork, V Ken...best of luck to you! Great episode!👍 Just a question: In order to create a kickstarter campaign, the person needs to have a big community of followers already OR the availability of the project on the kickstarter platform is able to do it’s job by itself? Thanks and keep on the nice work Siya!

Hello! You don't need a follower community, just the project ready to go. However, having a follower community always helps push the project along. Some projects pick up steam on the platform itself if Kickstarter pushes to the front page "Projects We Love". Thanks so much for the comment!
