Over the past few months my wife has come with me to a few different states to shoot in matches and on the way home she always says she wants to do the next one. I want to support the idea as much as possible and I figured that setting her up with a .22 to compete would help prove that I support her. The 10/22 is a lot faster being semi instead of having to run the bolt. The only is the accuracy on a factory setup isn’t quite up to par and I want to give her the best chance to place high. She is a good shooter, she just needs the equipment. I set this up the same way I would for myself. Most of your accuracy will come from a quality barrel so I went with a proven name in KIDD. I also wanted a stock that covered all the bases, like a nice comb, flat foreend and a comfortable vertovle grip. I also saved some $ by doing my own trigger job. I had the rifle already and spent about $350 to upgrade. I would love nothing more than for her to place high and build her confidence even more!
