I've been out of prison for 6 yrs now. This song was the only song that I sang in my head for months on end. Here I am now six years later revisiting this song and it makes more sense to me now why I sing that song in my head for so many months now than ever. Thank God for his grace his mercy and his love! 6 years clean and sober and going strong! All glory be to God 🙏

To all my fellow brothers and sisters that is reading this you are just as important as I and the rest of the world is. I love you and You are loved greatly by God and you are number one to him. Never ever give up but rise each time you fall. Life is a journey we all travel with many crossroads and many bridges. Sometimes we take the wrong road and we make mistakes along the way we just have to learn from them. I pray that if you are facing hard times and struggles that you just give it to GOD and have faith. Just know there is someone worse off than we are and I pray for all those that are. I always say I'm stressed but still blessed.

Love this song, it rings true to me. My hisband of 37 years was on crack and went through what we had and everyone else things too. I suffered panic attacks and depression so bad while i managed to work full time and raise our two kids while he would stay gone all the most of the time using. I would fall asleep praying for god to take the taste for it away from him. 36 years into our marriage he quite cold turkey. That was 2017 and he's still clean. Thank you God!! God is listening to each and everyones prayers. Keep having faith!!

My dad used to listen to this song when he was sorting things out. I knew his soul was going through some growing pains . We drove out to Florida one year and he listened to it every now and then while trying to pick the path he wanted to go down next in life. He was having a rebirth of the soul. Unfortunately I didn’t understand the depth of it until he passed away 7 years after. I find as I get older with time I am drawn to this song like he is. He didn’t like kid rocks songs… but he loved this one. Sometimes I hear it I know it’s him. Saying not to quit and everything will be revealed in time.

Would you (whoever on his staff that reads these) please take some time on a day where Kid is having that bad day, and let him read these stories. I've read them for hours today (during my bad time) and sometimes we all need to know that we make a difference. You've inspired so many, you've helped so many, and during a bad day, week, month or year, your music has done good...that counts for something. It's important, to all of us...and to you...because you wouldn't give us music if you didn't feel it was what you have to do... So please let him read these...show him...he sees a huge crowd...but people post these to tell him thank you. Each person means it ,it's helped this old lady this week too. KRobert Smith - What's up boss, I happened to see you just posted that a week ago. About 8 years ago I was in your same place, it turned me in to a really selfish person. I think I was clean for like 9 months or so before I finally could throw away my last rig. After a few relapses, and turning my back on a few close people, time just sort of went on. I kind of just forgot that instant gratification mindset as well. If you ever think you're in a bad spot or feeling crazy, don't hold back seeing a suboxone doctor - the shit actually does help you and is way less of an evil than H. It got me through some tough spots, and there's sub doctors all over the freakin place now. Even if it takes just smoking green and subs for a while until your mind lets go of the dragon, it ends up being so much of an easier lifestyle to NOT be using H. Dude told me once if you put in 10% of the effort you did to get high into staying clean off H, you'll do alright.

I lost my 2 sons Joshua 23 was driving to meet his girlfriend in PA and 20 minutes away he fell asleep at the wheel and he hit a tree ! This was on April 6 2020 he died on the 20 th from trauma to his brain! A year later my son Michael died age 23 from a fentanyl overdose on September 25, 2021! And definitely that song only God knows why says it all ! You have to keep faith it’s been so difficult, but this song really hit my heart!

Your music touches people in their hearts and thats what good music does and thats what will make it timeless. To write timeless music is something that only the greatest can do and keep glorifying GOD because so many are afraid to and we need as much of it as possible. Ive seen you back in the 90s in Bremerton WA when COWBOY dropped and i was on LSD and candy flipped it with ecstasy. Me and seven friends that was one of the best shows.

@@pauls.8887 hey Paul, I'm 4 yrs clean from opioid and heroine. Had a great career and family and back surgery went bad, never thought I would wind up down this road. And man I can relate, nobody was better at beating myself up than me, just felt I didn't deserve shit and would live out my life and die, at 55 I felt I was ready. Don't honestly know what happened, just got sick and tired of leading such a life I started turning it around and talking. I will admit I've met a woman that says she accepts me and just hives me all the credit in the world for asking for help and staying clean and yea it does help to have people in your corner. But just know I'm thinking of you and can relate exactly what your saying. It's different for everybody but man we all make mistakes, I cost myself over a $100,000 a year job and now working in a factory but I'm happy, honestly, I'm walking taller. Nobody liked me because I didn't like me. Hang in there brother. I'm sure there are people pulling for you, I am!!

So sorry for your loss. I am lucky I still have my mom but she is in constant pain. I also had cancer and 4 month's after I finished chemo my ex was diagnosed... I lost him in March this year. I cant imagine not having my mom. :(

Update: Been clean for i think 2 weeks now! loosing track its getting easier still think of it everyday though but im actually able to do things without it! my body and my mind dont feel the need for it anymore just to function!

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Cirrhosis yesterday. I’ve never drank or done drugs but a lot of different things can cause this.This battle begins. I beat breast cancer at the beginning of the year. People get what they deserve..I ain’t seen mine but maybe I will. Only God Knows Why....... I wanted to give an update...First of all, THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PRAYERS AND WELL WISHES!!! I went today for an endoscopy and found that the blood vessels in my esophagus are slightly enlarged due to the cirrhosis and I am being put on blood pressure medicine to hopefully stop them from getting worse. My cirrhosis started as fatty liver disease. I am working to get and keep my weight down along with keeping my sugar under control. The damage was done to my liver years ago when I was a considerable amount bigger. Hopefully, with God’s grace, I will keep on keeping on!!!!
