That’s why I respect him so much because you can see how passionate he is about his work. And I can see when he does interviews he gets so in depth and most of the time the people interviewing him look at him like he’s crazy and just don’t understand what he’s saying but I can understand what he is saying and meaning because I am also an artist and have a very imaginative and creative mind like him. It’s funny you used those words. True Romance and Natural Born Killers used to be one long script. It was too long so he adapted it into the two different scripts. He sold True Romance and then Oliver Stone and the studio bought NBK. They changed his script so much that at the premiere Quentin was so disgusted with what they had done to his work, he walked out mid screening and demanded to have his name removed as a writing credit.

I could listen and preferably watch QT just shoot the breeze about his journey and what he envisages in his mind when he starts constructing his ideas on to paper to then bring it alive. You kinda feel his passion as he feels it rather then try and imagine it if that makes sense. Such a open and child like enthusiasm to share what it is that floats his boat about making niche movies that oozes his brilliant mind and talent. QT is a one off that no one could ever copy and theres a couple of them trying.
