We're back for another Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team battle report and we're kicking of 2023 with the first game in our long awaited narrative campaign, so thank you to those who have been patiently waiting!
We open up our narrative with an Inquisitor and his Kill Team of elite Kasrkin operatives, meeting up with a Rogue Trader deep within the Askellon sector during the closing hours of the 41st Millennium.

This was simply amazing... I'm glad you guys are back at ... Superbly painted models and terrain awesome camera and voice work the editing was top notch... What would be a cool is a video on the narrative experience gain and battle scars and honors they receive ... But this was probably one the best kill team battle reports I've ever seen ... SPECTACULAR!!

Having played a few games with them now, that’s the distinct impression I get with the kasrkin. They’re elite enough to get the job done, but being regular humans means they suffer every step of the way…

Plasma Gunnery at 21:38 spent a CP to re-roll one die when he could have re-rolled all of them with the Neutralize Target Tac Ploy. There were a couple of other times when I was surprised the Kasrkin player didn't use it. Nice production values, though!

No worries! Neutralize Target and generous use of elite points can allow your gunners to punch very hard during early shooting. I don't regret spending most of both of them on early turns to get momentum.

I love narrative games, it provides such a level of immersion it makes the game ever so much more fun. I love how you had a tech priest and inquisitor mini for the narrative intro, it´s something I´m looking into for myself as well. How you guys did this brings batreps to a whole new level, loved the effects that portray what the combat actions were. For me personally I´d love to see a snapshot of the actual dice roll alongside your explanations, the visual of it will make it even easier to follow. Just a picture of the dice in a row would suffice, so we can see the actual numbers you mention. All in all definately the way to go forward, I´m waiting in anticipation for the next videos you´ll be uploading.

i dont comment on many things but this has to be said. This is seriously some of the best narrative writing and editing I've seen. The specific sound queues and music, as well as the voice lines from the old dawn of war games! Just the way everything is captured and each units actions are added upon in a descriptive short few words. Also the editing! Great stuff, the models and stats being in each corner really keeps me (someone whos new to killteam) engaged. Not to mention the models pictures spinning and further graphic designs/filters over them looks even better! Very well done, Im subscribing for sure!

Hearing the intro gave me chills, what an utterly brilliant piece of work, and I would absolutely love to see more- from the thumbnail to the models and the terrain, everything looks like so much care and thought went into it. The amount of Vorthos in this is off the charts :) Normally when I see battle reports people are so focused on just the melvin aspects of the game and as someone who has 6 In progress or complete teams but has never yet had the chance to play a single game I need to get some games in this year finally.

Really liked the video but would love you to drop the filter on the combat view after the cameras were done being used. Would love to see this paint job better! The gellarpox look great and the terrain looks like it had a ton of work put into it. Great job though!

Loving what you're doing with this narrative style battle report, only tjing I may suggest is working on those audio spikes with effects, the voice filters and certain fx are really loud when compared to the quieter voice overs! Other than that this is great and keep up the great content!
