8 day canoe trip in Killarney Provincial Park in August of 2019. It was a nice and easy trip, we stayed on George Lake, Killarney Lake and O.S.A Lake.

Loved this video and crowd! I thought the dog howling was one of you doing a moose call. Lmfao! Priceless!❤

Don't hog the thunderbox, Michael. Other people need to use it. Just thunder once and walk away. If you need to thunder again later, then make another trip. You brought lots of TP, so you can do multiple trips. Nice video. It was good to see you guys on the island site in OSA. We were under our nobugzone having a leisurely breakfast and extra coffee when that storm went through. It was really coming down. Glad we didn't have to paddle in it.

That is one hell of a canoe trip. I have always wanted to do something like this. I do the kayaking/canoeing, I do the camping, I do the fishing, but never for that long. Excellent channel. Will be watching more.

One tip when using thunder boxes....bang the lid before sitting. Gets rid of spiders that like to hang out under there. Lol

I am definitely a proponent of thundering whenever you need to. LMAO. Sorry, Michael.

I have no idea how you guys set up 3 plus tents on that site. Must have required somebody hiking a bit from where the tarp is.

Nope, lots of room on the campsite. Important to only set up on pre existing campsites to not damage vegetation anymore 😅

Great video! All of you are troopers! How do you guys meal plan for 8 days. I struggle so much with this.

I meal plan for just Michael and myself whereas my mom is AMAZING and plans for the 4 of them. But when we were all younger and all of us were there (there's 1 more kid lol) she would plan for all 6 of us plus 2 dogs! It's essentially just massive fold out table that we put tape on and make lines/blocks for each day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and then lay everything in its spot and then the barrel gets packed from last day at the bottom to first day at the top so you go through the barrel without having to dig through it every meal. Its hard though!

Care to share your jello cheesecake recipe?

It's actually just the jello cheesecake packages that you can find at Walmart. We added some freeze dried raspberries and used powdered milk instead of actual milk while backcountry. :) Its SO good!

How can you enjoy the wilderness and the ambiance of nature when you're bringing canned music? You are obviously not into listen jng to The Sounds of Nature.

What are you referring to? The satellite radio we had? We were using it to listen to the weather as that’s what made our friends comfortable while being out in a trip like that. Not normally something we would do but nothing wrong with it at all - were getting outside and enjoying nature and not bothering anyone else. Your opinions are yours and mine are mine. Have a good day!

I like your videos, they are very interesting but having one person do all the dishes suggests that you people lack any and all leadership skills, not sure how much of this is staged but you would have no chance on surviving on your own without all your take along creature comforts.

lol thanks for the criticism? None of this is staged at all, simply filming our adventures as they happen. Absolutely no time to stage anything, plus - why would I? 😂 Also, how does having one person doing the dishes suggest that we lack leadership skills? If someone cooks, the other does the dishes. Simple? I’d feel confident surviving on our own with my camping gear with or without my “creature comforts” which is what? Our dogs? 😂 Usually I don’t take time to respond to these crazy comments but this one is just too good and makes absolutely ZERO sense 😂 have a good one bud, I hope your trips involve multiple people doing dishes, lots of leadership and no creature comforts 😂
