ONE-POCKET - CLIFF JOYNER and LEE VANN CORTEZA were up against eachother at the 2013 Derby City Classic. Joyner, a 2013 inductee into the One-Pocket Hall of Fame, was a three-time U.S. Open 1-Pocket champion, as well as a Derby City Classic 1-Pocket winner. Corteza’s expertise was at the rotation games, winning a U.S. Open 10-Ball championship and a DCC 10-Ball Challenge.

Love seeing Cliff play one pocket just love it especially after his medical issue that he had I hope that one day soon he can get back to the same level because these young players have no idea how outstanding Cliff played one pocket

Cliff plays down around Mobile AL where I am. He lives here but plays all over the gulf coast

Great match and excellent production. Sometimes it seems like the commentators fall into the trap of seeing the game played differently than they are used to and assuming it's not correct decision making. However, the game is still constantly evolving and today's game is much different than it was played in the past. Also there is a tendency to lump Filipino players together as a group while a great player like Lee Van Corteza deserves to be recognized for his incredible talent and skill as an individual and respect the hard work and dedication it took to reach that level. He's currently ranked 12th in the world at an 813 Fargo rating.

Commentators are so obviously bias, Cliff was mentioned so many times and they hardly ever said his opponents name..

Enjoyed Bobby Hunter's commentary, Mark Wilson is worse than Al Michaels and Chris Collingsworth, talk about being a lucky human being, He's been announcing pool forever, and still sucks at it
