As an American, I know Noah has got to be looking at these races, knowing it's going to be hard to get gold or silver. I think you are going to have to clock just under 9.75 to win this time around. Unless Noah can accelerate sooner than the last 40 to 30 meters, I see a bronze medal in his future at the Olympics. Hats off to Jamaica. You all got those guys right just before the Olympics. I see Gold and Silver in yall future for the men 100 meters

@@RizzFinesse The Paris track and conditions are also different from America too. Noah got beaten on the same Jamaica track by Seville who ran the same time 9.82 that he beat Noah by, for 2nd place at the nationalchampionship. Yet Thompson cruzed by Seville and shut it down with about 30 meters to go and still ran 9.77. Both Seville and Thompson have ran faster than Noah Lyles has ever run:- 9.82 & 9.77 respectively. He needs to clean up on his start because it's obvious his car can get better. If he can get his start on the same level as oblique, it's a Dun Dahdah. As far as where I think he'll end up being at the Olympics. It's a crush between him and oblique. He started slowing down before oblique but oblique didn't seem like he wanted to pass it. He started shutting it down too and he still ran at 10:82 so I believe that oblique Seville will probably run a high 9:7's to a low 9:7's and Kishane a mid 9:7's to a mid 9:6's "Neetli"!!

Kishane has the same potential as a younger exuberant Usain Bolt. However, Kishane has the advantages that Bolt did not have and is the most likely to dip below that magic number. I know it seems impossible, but we will see. Won't we? Just look at him. You know when someone knows that their potential is unlimited. It was like Shericka's reaction after running her best time for the year. Shericka is a cool cookie. Watch how she reacted. What did you think happen? Her body told her something incredible that she wished for years she could find in herself. WATCHOUT FOR SHERICKA. Fraser Pryce is ready to go and train for the Olympics. She will yawn, stretch, get out of bed, and then she will go to work. We know Shelly, don't we?

9.58 is about 10 feet in distance from a 9.77 by calculations. Analyze it by bolts world record race and see Bolt beat Gay by 0.13 secs and Gay beat Powell by 0.13. Its estimated there was 13 feet between Bolt’s 9.58 and Asafa’s 9.84. He has to make up another 10 feet.

Definitely 9.6 potential.. At 9.5, he'll have to be immaculate, and I think he'll need more time to develop that and some championships under his belt kinda confidence and realizations. Then I think the 9.5 conversations.. but right now in his novelty and his confession to still learning speed management, the 9.6 mid range (9.67 to 9.64) is def a possible ceiling expectation based on his power and speed at the moment... when he masters speed management its over for everyone!

@k.levarsmith1652 He’s only 22 years old and the controlling of his speed is base on running rounds just enough to advance to the next .. This will start a new revolution in Jamaican sprinting. I always said Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce were part of the golden era of Jamaican athletics, which spanned from the mid-2000s to the late 2010s. However, a new Platinum era is on the horizon. In the next couple of years, by 2026, Kishane Thompson is poised to threaten Bolt’s records, and the Clayton twins, “The Twin Turbo," will be fully loaded and ready to dominate the track. I have pity on those who are not Jamaicans.

@@petergreen5242 Yea it is. The reasons is because he’s the G.O.A.T. However, once someone breaks the record. The record holder is history. Usain Bolt retired too early. Once the record is broken, Usain Bolt will be erased and he will be history and silent 🤫.

@@LifeissuesDLYAgreed. 9.5 is delusional after seeing someone run 9.77 (9.7 high). I wouldn’t even talk about 9.6 until I see a runner go 9.7 low a couple of times.

9.5???? Don't let a couple of good races cloud your judgement or skewer your thought processes. He is a big man. It takes a lot of energy to carry all of that down the track. There is a good chance he will be tired by the time he gets to Paris.

@jimwagner9522 The same was said about Usain Bolt when he first got on the scene, he was too tall with his body frame it won’t work the same exact thing you are saying now about Kishane, look we all can’t see his raw talent ..

Personally, I think Oblique has more potential to challenge the record. This is due to him never really running through his races, which is getting annoying, and his sprint form.

Kishane Thompson first 50m is better than Bolts first 50m, Bolts last 50m is unmatched. Kishane needs more 150m straight to get close to Bolts last 50m. With the push from Noah and Seville we could see a 9.55 come Paris. Kishane pickup is unreal. The best is yet to come

*From no track history to 9.5? Kishane Thompson is an Engineered Lab Rat, Jamaica's desperation for "track glory" is becoming evident. Steven Francis is not coaching or training runners but "creating" and "engineering sprinters at his MVP location.*

Well to be fair he ran 9.85 last year and has run 9.77 this year not 9.5. Wasn’t it Knighton from the US who tested positive for a banned substance recently but was let off suspiciously too easy?
