I hear you loud and clear man, I don't know if you've ever seen my channel but I've reached out to you before and I wish to be the same way, it just sucks to see some youtubers do the things they do and end up so well off despite the thing they did or even sometimes because of it. How do I get myself noticed unless I do the same? It's such a sucky thought.

This will probably get lost in the comments and you will never ever read this. But I can literally feel your struggle to justify your moral and ethic codex and trust me, you're doing the right thing. Dont let anybody ever tell you differently. You are a good person. Keep doing what you're doing. You're at least making my life better by creating amazing and clever content.

Quite honestly, this is fandoms in general. It's also why I don't like affiliating myself with fandoms, because it always seem to turn to blindly following the content and defending it beyond logic and reason, to the point of hating other fandoms or criticizers of said content even if the content deserves to be criticized. Not only that, but it seems people who support the channels you mentioned take everything on a personal level, as if insulting Frankie was an attack on their family AND their cow. And no one insults another person's cow. Anyway, it is an unfair world where it seems the people who should suffer consequences for terrible, unethical actions don't while those who have ethical standings and moral codes seem to fall to the wayside of consequences they shouldn't deserve. Playing the nice guy gets you last place, but for me personally, I really don't mind that. I can go to bed at night peacefully knowing that my actions didn't break my rules, my ethics, and I don't care how the world treats me for it.

I feel like that about games too. Plenty of games I like are becoming riddled with dlc and shady business practices. If I just buy the game and no dlc, I'm still supporting the game so its unlikely the dlc will stop, but if I don't buy the game at all I'm depriving myself of an experience I'm sure I'll like. I have to decide between morals and the minuscule difference that my single purchase will make. Honestly, it sucks, because the only thing that will REALLY stop dlc is if a very large portion of the playerbase didn't buy it, and its this mentality that prevents the playerbase from doing that. If no ones boycotting the games, what good is avoiding a game I'll enjoy? mini rant over

Talk to WarOwl about organising video sponsorship from worthwhile companies. He holds a similar stance to you, except he has started with some baked in advertising for health and education related companies :-)

The good thing about KZfaq is that there is just SO MUCH stuff. It isn't that hard to stop following someone's content and go to someone similar who isn't a scumbag. If you enjoy the content and not the host, go find similar content. You may even find somebody that you like better than the last.

This is why I'm subscribed to all three of your channels, dude. This kind of outlook is more than just KZfaq needs. It's what the WORLD needs, dude. Don't be afraid to speak up against injustice. Watching this video reminded me for some reason how I found you out. I remember browsing my recommended one day ,probably 2-3 years ago, and stumbling on one of your videos, though I cant remember for the life of me which one it was,but it was not cs related since I wasnt even playing cs at the time (so I think im one of the few people who found you out outside of cs, yay!). I still remember telling to my self "holy shit this guy knows what he's talking about and how to word himself (I think it was one of your tech rants). It was so refreshing watching that kind of video in the sea of crap that the mainstream youtube was back in 2014-2015, so I stayed. You can imagine my surprise when I found out you also made cs videos with that exact same style. You are a special kind of human phillip, and im honored to have stumbled accross your channel(s), even more so because it was outside of your "special game" . Felt like telling that story . Philip, you inspire me to hold my morals, i found your content when i was young and seeing a csgo youtuber who doesn't gamble inspired me, i wouldn't see any issue in you doing it, but seeing you stand your ground and not giving in to the temptation makes me believe that i can do the same. Intel, Nvidia and even AMD have all made mistakes and had people swearing to boycott in the past, yet they're all as well off as if they'd never really made any mistakes. The only things that still apply are very recent mistakes.

Hey Philip, I really liked this video, but I have just 1 minor notice which is not too significant, but the contrast of sound volume between your voice and Shadow of Mordor clip in the end is quite high, so I got some blast sound into my eardrums while watching it. Also, you might want to consider finding your long lost brother "gamblingphilip", and telling him to make a channel where he will upload some low quality videos and accept all advertising offers to make some sweet KZfaq money. But all in all great video, keep up the good work!

This is probably one of the most truest and perfectly well put together videos I've seen. I've been thinking the same way since Keemstars pedo allegations on the old man, the CS gamble scandles, Oh and the whole Frankie situation, Which, I have to say was over-exaggerated.
