None of my friends watch ur videos that I know of and I never really have talked abt them to anyone else Bc why would I. Pretty much, for all I know, he could b a figment of my imagination, yet he is really another person with just a detailed life as I or anyone else has. It makes you think about how important life is and when u hear some crazy stat like how 400 ppl died in the tsunami in Indonesia recently, it’s so easy to j think of that as a statistic but that is 400 people with the same amount of memories and emotions that you feel all the time. Kliksphillip going deep and philosophy

Analyzing something can quickly make it feel more controllable and easier to cope with, i think that's what's so appealing about your analytic content. You're often analyzing thoughts that many of us have had in the past in your "update" type videos. Really good content that gets you mentally engaged aswell.

It's suprising how versatile and different your videos are and yet I enjoy every kind of video you release, be it philosphical, analytical or completely obscure. You'd be one of the few youtuber's I'd genuinely miss if you passed, whereas for most others it wouldn't go beyond a "oh shit that happened" and I have only found you some weeks back.

I thought this was an educational tutorial on what to do if our player died in CS:GO.

Content like this one makes you amazingly different to many other "content" creators. A friend of mine died a few years back unexpectedly at the age of 23 when his motorcycle got run over by somebody under the influence of heroin. A few months later I had a long talk with his parents and they told me that their inability to contact all their son's friends, colleagues, etc. was extremely frustrating and depressing to them. This was only 2004 but already back then, they sad it is so tremendously disappointing when you can't find out through your son's phone or PC (passwords) whether he had a new relationship or the people in his new clique, given that he had moved a few hundred kilometers away to study, recently. I hope that people - politics, companies, etc. - become more aware that this "online death" is a serious topic in our digital world and future. Thanks for this great video!

It's a weird topic really. When a content creator dies there's not really too many ways of finding out. In the case of McSkillet it was all over the news, with Ed from Eds World he had connections to other youtubers who also had access to his account and in the case of kitty0706 a friend of his posted on the facepunch forum about it. There needs to be either something big happen or someone close to announce it, for a lot of people that's unlikely to happen since they tend to keep youtube away from their private life. At any moment a content creator could die and it could be months before anyone finds out if ever. There are a lot of ways that such an event could be prepared for but I doubt many people would want to do that and also there is no flawless method of going about it. There is no good way to die and there's no good way to let people know. There's no proper way around it unless you have the connections to people who will do it for you.

Existential stuff like this are the scariest videos on this website.

This is insane man, I see this so much, yesterday on the bus I saw a post with kilksphilip in it on reddit, you were smiling so nicely with a fan of yours at the major. I've been following your content and interested in what you do since like forever, I thought holy shit this guy is so genuine and very exemplar, wow, I feel like I am living through history, I am alive at a time when kliksphilip is also alive. What if he died... and the thoughts went on then this video appears wow. Great watch though but man that is insane. This is one of my favourite channels on KZfaq. Not many people are brave enough to appear this genuinely vulnerable, and I appreciate you lots for doing that.

I wanted to write something emotional, but I think ~ 400 people have already before me. But I will say one thing - I don't think I have fully realized this until now, but throughout the many many years you have making KZfaq videos, I think that you were the biggest influence on the way I personally think and reason. And that is something that I truly value, since that's what I do all the time. I hope. Just look at how many people care about you! That is truly wonderful and I really am happy to see that you are getting so much support. I guess trying to be honest and humble does pay off!

This is something I think about, particularly when favorite channels of mine go silent for extended periods of time.

As an editor from a big yt channel this feeling of releasing a video when nobody could reschedule it as I would die is so scary. Philip your idea is genius though.

This shows just how weird the times are that we are living in. Nobody has really dealt with this before, KZfaq and the internet haven't been around long enough. It'll be exciting to see where we go from here. The internet of things is still in its infancy.
