Got another RC from RC Modelz to add to the collection!!

Awesome RC for sure. 👍 So far I have stayed away from fuel powered RC's out of fear that they would be lots of work to maintain. I really have no idea but I sure like the form factor of this KM001. Great job setting it up and showing the break in procedures.

Hi man, I’ve just recently bought one of these and I can’t get the servo to turn on, I’ve tried charging it and it was red on the charger but goes green likes it’s charged but still nothing? Is my servo dead

I recommend a 4600 mah nimh 5 cell 6 volts humppack. Easy to store and use ! Should give you about 2 plus hours of driving time 🤙

This seems like a very lengthy and involved breakin period, is the case with all gas rc vehicles? I have never owned one but i have bought a few brand new chainsaws years ago and just ran them normally, no breakin at all and years later the same saws are still running perfectly.

chris dubbs Thanks for the comment. A two stroke engine of this kind is very different to a chainsaw style two stroke engine - these are high performance engines with higher compression and reach greater RPM’s - they need to be broken in to achieve best performance. Opinions vary of course but that’s what I do and it works for me 🤝

Caution is fine fella. I would do one heat cycle then one low rev run using high quality oil of course. These are in a fairly low state of tune. Again never enough running in.

Im new to RC cars and have been looking to purchase a 1/5 scale petrol car for a while, the king motor is the best value for money I've found soo far but whats better the king motor or rovan both same cc and price. Is there any difference ??

Both exactly the same really. They are good value for money and are quite straight forward mechanically so good for someone new to the hobby 👍

I have the exact same car, i have done 3 heat cycles and it has never started since. I just keep breaking pull starts

You've probably sorted it by now, but the first upgrade I did , after similar issues to you, was to bin the crappy pull start and get the easy start version. So much better, and not much difference in price to the crappy ones.

Kowlessur Rajiv If you ever have radio interference it will kill the engine to prevent run aways

@@inngotrcexperience6716 why not with a 2 stroke it is better to drive slowly every time a bit faster heat cycle just gets too much oil in the engine bad for the oil rings and pollution in the engine
