Sometimes getting down onto the floor is hard; especially if your knee hurts!
This video shows you how to stay right in bed and get some relief.
You want to start with mobility and soft tissue work to get blood flow going, follow this with strengthening, and then end with stretching.
All you need is a Derma Edge or rolling pin, and a strap or a sheet.

I’m going to try those. Thank you Dr. K. I use your exercises for rotator cuff. They are helping a lot. I don’t know if it’s the movie you are thinking of but that quote was on the Pacifier.

Thanks for this video . I find that the strengthening exercises work like magic . Two questions. How often should I do them and should I focus only on the affected knee ?

You’re welcome! I typically tell people twice a day and there is no harm working on the other side, especially if there is some weakness.

@@drkristieennis I'm rehabbing a shoulder dislocation from a snatch a few months ago and I may have tennis elbow. However, 2 x weeks of fairly intense stretches and lacrosse ball seems to be getting a lot better. Thanks for asking!

If your knee hurts in the front it’s probably not safe to pull your knee back! Especial if you have comdromalsia syndrome.. is that correct?

Just 'found' your channel & mahalo nui loa for your videos! For someone (me) who has torn both ACLs and lost most of the meniscus in one knee- but STILL wants to be active in cutting sports (volleyball), are there any (magical) exercises / routines to assist?

Dr. Kristie, what are your thoughts on cross friction massage for rotator cuff tendons? I've seen a video for I think supraspinatus massage but I wasn't getting results

What happened if you had an operation about 30yrs ago due to liquid going hard slip thru the bones behind the patella Then tore my carliage... and your nerves were cut ... I dont feel nothing ... and knee is swollen still and ache , can you do these exercises

It depends on the reason for the cracking. There are lots of reasons that can occur:)

Hi, thanks for these exercises and tips. I'm struggling with knee pain in both knees atm.. I've a Q: at 5:50 it seems you're not lying straight but the legs are a bit behind you, is that correct? Also, apart from the pain standing (up), my knees keep popping a lot, should I be worried..?

That’s correct! You want to work the glutes and a little extension helps. As far as popping goes, that can be from numerous causes. That’s a good one to have looked at in person:)

I have a question. I have been having fathom vibrations now and then. I looked into this, I am healthy but this is strange. I bend forward and it happens sometimes underneath and lower back stomach, groin. No pain just weird?

Without seeing you this is a difficult one. It does sound like the nervous system. If you have a family care physician you like, it might be a good idea to make an appointment.

Thank you for the advice, Dr. Kristie. I have an issue that my legs hurt when sleeping in the same positon for a few hours. It's a tired feeling. Would you know what I can do to correct it? On another note, I am willing to bet that you took off your socks right before making this video. :)
