CLIP DESCRIPTION:
When Debbie (Leslie Mann) and Alison (Katherine Heigl) try to skip the line at a nightclub, they are rejected by the Doorman (Craig Robinson).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
When a one-night stand that should have stayed that way has unexpected consequences, the reluctant odd couple attempts to transform their tentative relationship into a lasting love in this conception comedy. Twenty-four-year-old entertainment journalist Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) is on the fast track to the big time, but an alcohol-fueled hookup with responsibility-shirking slacker Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) finds her professional priorities taking a back seat to having a baby. Now, as overgrown kid Ben attempts to assume the responsibilities of fatherhood, he makes the brave decision to stand by Alison. In order to make things work between the pair, however, there's going to have to be some compromise, and when Alison and Ben decide to take a shot at love, they quickly find that building a relationship from scratch isn't nearly as easy as making a baby.

@@jasoncummings7052 Men also need to keep their emotions in check, but because they're men, their anger is generally perceived as righteous indignation or as simply standing up for oneself. This is actually an incredibly important life lesson. Sometimes someone may be fuming with anger, but the sickest burns come from a calm collected person. Anger and the desire for retaliation can often get someone in trouble. The ability to remain in control of that emotion is easier said than done, but necessary.

This was my life for years as a doorman at many nightclubs. The worst part was having to tell other black people they can't come in for 1 made up reason or another, then having to let in white guys for the same exception. Made me want to kill myself every time. Hated that job with a passion but there was lots of money to be made and it was so easy so i put up with the bullshit until i just couldn't anymore. @michaelcochran5619

Actually, the sadest part is that you think that is reality. No club owner or bouncer for that matter would ever deny a black or hispanic into any club in this day and age for fear of lawsuits or riots without an extremely good reason such as being already overwhelmingly intoxicated or some dress code crap. Thats reality without a race card played. Suck it up.
@bizcut
@bizcut 4 жыл бұрын
@@rachelp9954 good question. Many clubs try to keep a line outside to make ppl think it's really "poppin" in there. Typically if you on a guest list they let you in without waiting in line or if you know the bouncers/ppl at the door. You can try hit the front of the line to get in but you risk getting shot down like in this scene here, its embarrassing. Throughout the night they will slowly let ppl in as the ones inside leave. So unless you got the hook ups or connect to get in, or the club is lax, you might end up waiting in line and not getting in. If the line is really long, pick a different club or bar to go to.
