None of you talked about how to convince the stroke patients not to commit suicide and how to help find for which reason they are still needed. I am a stroke patient...struggling to come to terms that my life has changed drastically irreversible!

Hi Sumann - Mental health is a huge component of stroke recovery that is often overlooked because of the priority our healthcare system places on physical health. We understand that depression associated with stroke can sometimes be more debilitating than the physical impairments, and will continue to advocate for better resources toward patients' mental and emotional wellbeing after this traumatic event.
