Maybe it's just me.....I have 3 ponds which I have hand dug in my back yard combined about 16K gallons of water. I have large Kois about 30 inches long in one of the ponds with no plants. No matter how much they are fed they all shred plants. I have a mix of fish through out my ponds of Bluegill, Crappie, Red ear, Koi, goldfish and Large catfish 36"+ My filtration system is completely natural with no commercial filtration what so ever. The water is always crystal clear.

What are those bumps on the goldfish? I think my goldfish had those before but I was able to get rid of it just by lots of water changes and high protein food.

Thankyou for this, I'd love to get some koi fish but realistically I couldn't give them a big enough pond long term where I live, so I opted for 6 shubunkins, hopefully they will get some good size to them ! 😁
