The problem "sometimes", is that fans thinks they are protecting their idols. They are the only ones who can protect them etc etc.. but they dont realize that they are part of their idols problem. Personal messaging the idols just to comfort them, saying like "its ok, we are here for you, or encouraging them like you can do this, fighting, etc." For a fan its a form of encouragement, but for the idols its invading their privacy. Especially if its their personal contact number.. 🤷‍♀️

I've worked at a lot of stores and malls, and I've seen many well-known people from the TV industry, etcetera. Including people that I really like and in no time, I've disrespected them. 1st because I was working and 2nd because they are human beings who deserve respect, especially if it's their day off. I'm speechless with this because, in my mind, everyone deserves respect and privacy. Before they were idols, they were people like everyone else, and after they became stars, they're still human, and people like us. Is it too hard to just treat them like human? I don't know when respect people become old-fashioned. But I prefer to live by that old-fashioned way

I honestly believe that if entertainment companies humanized K-POP Idols by letting them have relationships, giving them more freedom to do what they wish and express more freely when making songs, dances, etc, and not always putting them in front of the camera for the world to see, sasaengs would be a thing. I feel like the way they view Idols is very dangerous and obsessive. Idols are humans too, so if they're treated as such and not as people who have to perform and satisfy a large group of people regardless who who they are as a person or how they feel, people would dial down their expectations. The big companies really need to humanize their idols before sasaengs take things too far and actually seriously harm idols.

Dear sasaengs, you’re ruining your own idol’s life by doing the worst things to your own idol. What i hate the most is that sasaengs attack/stalk their own idols. Let idols have freedom. You can enjoy your idol’s music, but don’t be too far. Idols work hard for you and this is what you give them? You attack them? Stalk them? What kind of pay back is that? Your idols sacrificed their life, even their childhood for you and fans to enjoy. An idol is NOT your partner or something.

I remember the story about Yunho of TVXQ drinking juice or coffee (can't remember which) from a fan. After drinking he vomitted blood and fainted because of it. They later learned it has super glue mixed in. Also the time when RM was photographed while trying on clothes in a fitting room. Also DBSK sasaengs sneaking into their dorms while they were sleeping and tried kissing them. Oh when Taeyeon of SNSD got almost kidnapped while performing. I still have shivers when I see the vid. And also the sasaengs that broke in FT Island's dorm, messing and stealing their stuff and leaving their own feces. I mean come on, how sick in the mind can they be. Then the incident of Kai being grabbed at the airport, causing him to fall and hit his chin. And because he was hurt, he cannot get up on his own. The sasaengs took advantage and touched him all over. Thank goodness Baek came to the rescue. Also the hidden camera in a teddy bear given to Suho, which thankfully was detected by the metal detector in the airport. Oh and so much more. It's no surprise that starting from Gen 3 idols, security has been more strict and idols started distancing themselves from fans because of these sasaengs.

Thank god Nayeon moved on It can be easy for a male idol to escape crazy fan girls but I dunno how would a girl protect herself Especially I guess they don't have guards around where they live
