Congratulations guys! I had exact same problem - my fiancé is also non-Korean. My parents were against our relationship and they even threatened to disown me etc. After years of trying to convince my parents to accept her, I decided to move on with my own life and proposed to her, thinking that I will cut all ties with my parents. Guess what? Just a few months ago, my parents decided that they were getting in the way of our happiness and they realised that in this day and age, interracial marriage is perfectly normal. Now they’re happy for us and they will be coming to our wedding next month! You guys are beautiful together. What matters is your love for each other. Enjoy your journey together!

Just remember that nothing, and no one can kill your love for one another. I understand completely that Justin's parents may not understand, and perhaps may not be happy, but as difficult as it may be you two complete each other. It's 2019, and I'm playing catch up on some of these older videos, but I can't help but feel that it's the rigid parents who will not bend who are not taking into account the fact that times have changed. They chose to immigrate to an English speaking country from South Korea, and Sarah's mother also chose to immigrate after her divorce to start her life over the astronomical odds that you both ended up in Calgary, Canada are amazing.
