Lovely views, the view from that pass must be one of the best in the world! I am with you on driving such roads Matt, it is exhilarating! Though I do understand that it can be stressful Julia, always worse for the passenger. I enjoyed the evening stroll through Kotor!

Another wonderful video, Matt and Julia! Loved the scenic stops and overlooks. I’m not sure if you’ve done this before, but would really enjoy a video on how you guys budget and make decisions on what to see you and do. Thanks for all the great content and hard work!

thank you so much for your kind message, it's really nice to know that you are interested in what goes behind the scenes :) usually we make more of a daily vlog video (we film pretty much everyday for about a week), where we explain and talk more about things like that. However, because of the speed we are travelling right now and the amount of work we have to do - it's just impossible. We will get back into it once we leave the Balkans :)

Kotor is so beautiful and yes, touristy. I think you're right - better in the autumn or so with less tourists. I'm surprised you guys didn't do a video hiking up to the fortress with that view! The drive up view you did can't compare with the view through the old fortress ruins!

Omg I love Kotor! Was in Montenegro 2 years ago in Zabljak and Kolasin in the Mountains and in Kotor bay! So nice people there also.

I recently found your channel after talking with my Russian husband (I am American) about moving to Europe and traveling for a year or so. We want to travel to a lot of Soviet countries. I have a random question: how did Matt learn Russian so well? I’ve been learning for 5 years now (not consistently but in university and privately) but mine is so terrible 😢 I can understand it well but speaking is probably the hardest thing for me!

I was there Friday. You don’t need anything to get into Montenegro if you’ve been in Croatia but would need vaccination evidence or proof of a negative test to get back in to Croatia

As someone whos traveld a lot thru EX YU, i can tell u that you guys have a lot to look forwerd to. Here is a fan fact for you ( in case you dident alredy know that ), Brad Pits career started in Montenegro, i meen his firs movie was done there. BTW, anather great video. :)
