bought 65'' and had a burning smell when plugged in, that didn't go away, returned and had to wait a week for a replacement, that one had no burning smell

can you share the setting you changed and played with to get the best picture?

I've reset the tv and sent it back already. contrast was mid 80s. brightness i think was mid 30s. color was upper 30s or so. Can't remember exactly

@@krislatty1136 haha no i actually reduce the colors and sharpness of my camera and tend to lower it even more in editing to keep things natural. Lowered the color in the TV setting as well so that's funny you say that

Do you get constant nag messages if you don't connect it to the internet? I know this is intended for internet use but I already own Shield TV's for each room. It seems like every tv of the past 2 years nags for an internet connection every time you turn it on.

Just depends what input your have it set to when you turn it on. It will only tell you you're disconnected if you switch to the fire tv input.

I'm looking for a 65" that is bright enough for HDR in a dark room about 13' from my chair to my TV stand. My backlighting is going out on my cheap $279 58" Hisense u6 2020 mdl.
