To repair bearings: Kreitlers can be found used at swap meets. I got some dyno-mytes for $75/pair, sold the spare pair on ebay= free rollers. I just knocked out the old bearings after a few years use. Use a Rubber mallet, make sure they are level, tap, tap, taparoo. To install: 1st bearing: Take roller, gently tap in bearing. Then Insert the threaded spindle rod in the roller and then (DO NOT TAP IN BOTH BEARINGS AND THEN TRY TO ASSEMBLE) tap in the 2nd bearing from the outside (obviously :) ) by placing a stack of old bearings (THIS IS HELPFUL TO AVOID DAMAGE) you tapped out of the other rollers on the threaded rod/spindle. Gently snug inner nuts against bearings (finger tight max) and then tighten the outer nut while holding the inner one, making sure the inner nut does not further tighten against the bearing (make sure threaded rod does not turn). You can figure the rest out. Get the bearings from Kreitler, it will save you a lot of cheap bearings that don't work ($25 for all 6).

im looking all over my room for the second band.... almost had a nervous break down.. then i realized i dont have the head wind thingie...... nice rollers though. first time in 30yrs i have been on them and i was only squrrilly for a minute
