Καλημέρα 🇨🇾🇨🇾..I love this.. and the fact you made a small quantity is great…In my country Cyprus,we call this a spoon sweet, which we make out of many fruits, apricots , Seville Orange, fig, bergamot, watermelon etc… preserved in its syrup…for me though,the ultimate.. picked fresh green walnut fruits from walnut tree transformed into a spoon sweet called Gliko Karithaki , which turns black when ready .. These spoon sweets are then served in tiny intricately designed glass dishes measuring about 6cm -2 inches or so, with a cool glass of water ,traditionally offered to our guests .. I will definitely try your recipe ..

Thank you KShar, I have lots of grapes that grow in my garden and I will try your recipe next season. I also have a fig tree and wish to have a good jam recipe for that too...or any recipe for figs.
