I'm a new Kubota owner so these videos are fun for me to watch. I'm getting some good ideas. Nice work.

I know this is an old post but if you look at the triangle clips that hold your forks on to the bucket, they are painted on one side. If you put them on upside down they won't snap into place. Too late for you now, but for anyone else with the same problem, try turning them over. You may even bend them a little more to make them hold a little tighter.

John Deere put two of the holes on my tractor so you can attach pieces on there for lifting heavy items and I am glad to have it. I am looking at an attachment which will fit on the one tractor I have to lift heavy loads of debris

The BXpanded fork clip on gizmo works great for me on my BX2670. Plus, if you'd used them, you can move the forks laterally if you need to. Not sure why you'd ever need to take of the clips. I just leave mine on. I suppose if they were falling off on you, you'd remove them. Mine only move when I want them to.

I tried keeping the brackets on. Mine just always seemed to want to pop off. After welding onto bucket, haven't had a problem since. Art

GOod inspiring work on the hooks. The audio was so bad, though, I just clicked a few spots on the time slider to get the idea and moved on. I did like the work and am going to try to duplicate it.

dalepres1 yeah, not my best filming. I made some additional modification to the bucket. Check the video out.

I also just purchased a 2015 BX 25 D. I saw you kept your ground cable for the welder close to where you were welding, just wondering if you did anything with the machines ground cable on the battery, like unhook it? Thanks for the videos, gave me some ideas as well
@agliem19 жыл бұрын
Nope, just welded it up. No issues.

How do you like the piranha tooth bar? I just got a kubota b2601 and was thinking about that one. I have a bobcat skid steer with the standard bolt on tooth bar that works great so I am torn between the old style tooth bar or the piranha. Thanks Jeff

Tooth bar works great. I leave it on the bucket all the time.

Why would you put a 3 ton hook on a 1200 pound machine that can only lift 200 pounds? I gave my kids a B.X. for Christmas when they were six and seven. It fit nicely under the tree!
@agliem18 жыл бұрын
I guess you don't own a BX.

Massey Ferguson 1540 TLB. My son has the BX for cutting grass and pushing snow. It is a solid little machine .
@johnmacrae92088 жыл бұрын
+joeytwosubs you have the same size tow ball on everything from quads to trucks but you don't get them to tow the same amount do you . if you watched the video the reason for the hook was explained . something stronger than it needs to be is usually better than something weaker than it should be

If you ever load the center hook even to half it's capacity, that poor little tractor will lay right down and die.

Yeah, the center hook is a little over kill.
