Fake cant be funny only truth can be funny

No surprise you don't get it if you just think it is slapstick humor. It is so much more than that, and yes it does get lost in translation if you understand it there is so much humor in the dialogues and the situations the characters get in. It seems that you see it as very one dimensional and only on the surface level. Normally I watch a lot of dub, but this dub really isn't good, it's fine but nothing special. The only thing it really bring is a bit of cringe humor.

I said that because from the dubbed or the subtitled version nothing is lost in this movie. there are cultural hints but it is not the last Emporer or any other cultural movie. it is a slapstick comedy and I would guess that the makers would be happy that you enjoyed the movie and found it funny. snowflakes are always looking for something to complain about. and that is your opinion on the "cringe" humor. I find the dubbed version way funnier. the whole movie is off the walls, so what do you mean by "cringe". anything you personally don't find funny. I would even guess that the makers of the movie had something to do with dubbing it. so if it is "cringe" it's because they wanted it to be. but by all means, continue to sit on your high horse telling others they don't get it. you virtue signaling snowflakes are so funny.
