The only ideology and private interest is from Russians who claim all sort of nonsense why they needed to invade Ukraine. If Russia pulls back to borders agreed upon 1991 then the war is over. Simple as that. It's not up to the victim in this case to negotiate to accommodate the aggressor. It has been debunked. There were no POW's on board and the plane was heading AWAY from Ukraine when it was shot down. Also the list of supposed POW's released by Russian's had names that were already traded back in previous exchange (meaning they were alive). Also even months later Russians have not managed to produce a single POW body as evidence. Initial photos of the crash site showed only a few bodies - likely the flight crew and not these 60+ POW's Russia claimed. Another Russian lie.
