It's truly inspiring and your work helped get me through a dark time of depression last year, as I struggled with health issues (after 9 months of testing and much waiting, I was diagnosed with MS). I have to say thank you, because your music helped me turn the corner as I struggled without answers as my body rebelled against me. I streamed Tenacious D's music endlessly and it helped keep my spirits lifted during a very dark time of my life. So thank you, man, from the bottom of my heart. Depression is a horrible thing, and you guys helped bring me out of that hole, and inspired me to find new ways to get more out of life.

I was at that Las Vegas "Knifing" show at House of Blues! The place was rockin and the show was only about half an hour in and The D announced they had to end the show. But at least they played tribute before leaving the stage.

I was just watching the Tribute music video this morning trying to learn the song. Definitely the best rock song of its age. That song rocks so hard I never knew it was played on an acoustic guitar until recently.
