my first thought was “this seems like a fireable offense.” i forget the details, but wasn’t there an instacart worker who bent the rules to do a good deed & only posted about it to genuinely encourage people to do the right thing regardless of “rules”-expecting no one to even see it but it blew up & she got fired over it? which only led to hella other companies reaching out to her to help her out financially since she lost her job over it. edit: nvm. she didn’t get fired. she was praised by them (as well as by other companies reaching out to help since she was a single mom making ends-meet). i think she maybe just stated originally she knew it was something she could get fired for, but knew it was the right thing to do. regardless, what this dude did could probs def get him fired.

Nobody is entitled to a tip… it’s actually so obnoxious that people lambast people for not giving tips when the service is subpar or unremarkable. @AmandaDixson2 жыл бұрын
The tip is apart of the overall- it *IS* expected; but it is EARNED. The reason the tip exists in the first place is due to slavery, and how they could keep people under min wage by giving them paid hours and allowing tips to cover the entire amount they make for the time they work. It's not hard to understand why- there's no need to be a dick, either being the one giving the tip or getting it. It's called being cordial and common decency.
@asmrwithbrie2 жыл бұрын
Like you said, *IF ITS EARNED* 🗣🗣 It’s annoying that people actually EXPECT to be tipped, but why am I gonna tip you if my service was either crappy or just simple and plain. To me, if the service wasn’t anything special but it also wasn’t necessarily bad either, I don’t mind tipping 1 or $2 realistically depending on how much was spent. In the US, it’s so overrated to even have this tipping scale and a %15 “RuLe” behind it to back it up which is a big reason why people automatically assume and expect. I totally agree! And this is coming from a woman who’s been in customer service and the serving industry for 10 years. It’s sad.
@kmhkennedy Жыл бұрын
In South Africa (where I live) you tip. 10% minimum, anything beyond is for extra good service. They could hike up the price by 10% and then we could not tip, but then you wouldn’t be sure the monies are going straight to the service worker, tips cut out the middle man. Also ppl often tip over 10% so it works out for the worker. So yeah, here it’s more obnoxious when people think they are are entitled to not tip, nothing says you an ass like not tipping. You will absolutely be shamed for it, because a non tipper sucks. The 10% is for the service, it’s for doing the job, not for doing it remarkably or something. How someone can bring a drink to a table remarkably is a bit beyond me.

I’ve seen pictures of Cardi B and Offset shopping at Target from time to time with their kids and I don’t think it’s worth all the chaos and drama that comes with it. Best person I seen tip is aliza Jayne that girl can tip. I am born n raised in Vegas n yes us Vegas ppl do know how to tip. More ppl with less money tip more then ppl with Money Ik firsthand being in food n beverage my entire career. Ppl born n raised here not moved here, born n raised here know that we make good money hourly, but we live off our tips. Also, NVR judge ur customers or guests when u see them getting seated at the hostess stand cus ppl do judge ppl with kids n other reasons n u will be surprised cus their the best tippers.

I am really 🤬 over this guy to be quite honest it just really looks like he's just clout chasing and wants some attention. because I bet you if it was a regular normal person that he was delivering to he wouldn't have went on social media saying they didn't tip and making it a big deal.But because it's Kylie Jenner he wants to make a big deal like people tip in certain situations but are not obligated to tip all the time or just cuz they're famous.And trying to act brand new because you're going to a celebrity's house is ridiculous as hell. treat them like a normal person half of the time that's all they want to be treated as normal.

I'm just so embarrassed for her to have security to have this huge compound and get so offended because someone said you didn't tip... who cares!? There's a reason this family became rich they don't give away money but what's a little unsettling is how she's trying to throw someone under the bus just because she's embarrassed about not tipping. If she has to tighten her purse strings and budget she should just own it instead of trying to call someone else out just because he answered a question he was asked.
