Even though neither suspects in this case are truly the killers, Eli is the one who should be locked up. Hugo may have been abusive, but according to his daughter it was only once, and he felt guilty enough to make it up to his wife. No point in jailing a father and leaving a daughter without any parents at all.

I actually believed that Hugo did it, but as you say his daughter had no other family. Meanwhile Eli is an unapologetic self confirmed abuser of children. Of course, later we find out neither of these guys did it. Anyway, I don't feel bad for putting Eli away even though he didn't do it. OVER THE MOON BOYS.

ParappatheRapper I wouldn’t mind if they kept Eli and that WWII Flamethrower guy in jail. Eli is a child predator and that WWII Flamethrower guy has killed women with his hands saying he’s killed many women.

This case has always mythed me. The green overalls are meant to belong to rooney but when you do the interrogation with moller about the overalls he never says what his work clothes are to defend himself, they can't both work at the same place. Also when you get blood stained shoes from the incinerator you never take them to be analysed whether it is rabbits blood like moller claims, the game must assume he is telling the truth as that would send him to death row instantly with the amount of blood on the shoe if he was lying.

That’s the discrepancy. HM for Hugo Moller or HM for Hennessy Marine, the company Eli works for. Eli said “Green coveralls and the company has HM on the front gates” which matches the description of the workwear.

That and the labeling of HM would be odd for a name tag to label an employee with. I mean who else walks around with work clothes and have big initials plastered on your shirt?

@@thegamingkirby8696 You're right it would be weird to have initials on workwear, but as he didnt get descriptive to explain it eg: its blue and has white text, we can only assume it could be his. We could assign it to rooney as it matches his description, but moller never says what his uniform looked like and challenge cole on it

@garyella1301 Well like all plot holes and plot conveniences, Hugo never ever did describe his work wear and was definite in his statement that his work clothes are at his home. Sure we could've at the very least seen it but I think the game didn't want to give it away too easily that it wanted us to arrest Eli.

I know its not right or an option to but I've always thought it would have been cool to get the janitor bc by his own admit he's at the school late doesn't know the guy when you ask but comes to the station and makes the husband instantly and is very quick to point out others oh Yea and he wears green cover alls when you talk to him lol the janitor got away with it

This game is criminally underrated. Too bad Team Bondi went under because of Brenden McMamara’s ineptitude. They also created The Getaway as well. Black Monday was decent I guess but that first Getaway was very dope

What pissed me off about this is that I got the boot size question wrong. Why? Because you're not supposed to accuse someone of lying if you don't have proof, and I had no proof he DIDNT wear size 11s. And I also had no reason to doubt him being 5'6'' and wearing 11s either, since I myself am 5'7'' and wear size 12s, but this game apparently thinks that's "doubtful". WTF 😠

There's a strong possibility that Eli Rooney isn't wearing shoes that he personally bought ("I like anything I can get my hands on."). He may very well wear size 11, but with the answer he gave, I think that's enough reason to press him a bit more

I haven't played the game in a LONG time but if i recall correctly you have to go back to the morgue and examine a footprint this give you a new clue which you can use during this interrogation, hopefully this helps you mate ^^ Greetings Wolfinator

@TheTacoGuy2107 go back to Central Morgue next to the ropes from the coroner you'll find two mud footprints examine them and you'll have a new clue tha the question will pop up. Hope this helps. Greetz CruelTroopOfDoomTV

I didn't have the footprint question. I found Hugo trying to burn them. They had blood on the bottoms, size 8. So I only get to ask Rooney the first three questions. What do I do, change suspect or cancel interrogation?

You get it by going up ranks. The suit makes you able to take more damage, before dying.

I know this is a decade later but avoiding all the vehicle damage we can just use fast travel by holding triangle next to the car and it'll make your partner drive thus avoiding all the city damage

It’s a change they did. Originally it was truth doubt and lie, which apparently confused players enough so they changed it. I personally mentally undone that to get through the remaster lol
