Stupendous voice, so pure, creamy, richly textured and resonant! Beautiful Mozartean singing, with the right style, but not without "flesh and blood". She's one of the most promising lyric sopranos of this generation.

i came here after seeing her live at Salzburger Festspiele (in Idoméneo). She was fantastic! Felt like her voice was a bit small, but still very beautiful. It's been a while since I felt this way about an opera singer! Hope to see her more on international stages!

@@dr-tse thank you for the comment. i meant that even so, it was particularly small(er) and noticeably so, because i was seated pretty up-front near the stage. if it were such an "obvious" point, i wouldn't have mentioned it.

Enoch Tse Oy, as I wrote in my initial comment, it was at the Salzburger Festspiele. If the acoustics there aren’t good, then I don’t know where they could be!😂 Anyway, I don’t want to pick a fight with you, obviously. I just wrote what I thought/ felt for that given performance I attended, at a specific date and time, at a specific venue. There are so many variables, not to mention the subjectivity of whoever’s listening so I’m not claiming it to be some universal truth. Perhaps my seat sucked; perhaps she had a particularly off day, perhaps my ears were blocked with ear wax that day, who knows?😂 Have a good day/ evening

Enoch Tse sorry, I edited the comment. No need to roll eyes. We’re all hear to enjoy music and appreciate artists! And I definitely was not criticising her; I just wished her voice volume had been slightly bigger at that particular performance because I couldn’t hear her well

My 11 year old is taking voice lessons specifically focused on opera. We read an article about you and here I am, wanted to hear what you could do. Absolutely beautiful, hope to see you perform live here in SF with my kiddo. We are going to watch Carmen on June 23rd thanks to some special people who love the artform and wanted to make sure that my daughter can experience as many operas as possible!

Still, some say one should not study voice too early (instead of "just" singing), and certainly, many teachers may put the instrument in jeopardy. Please, take care. As an art form, lieder would probably be a good idea, and oratorios, as well.

@@soavemusica @love dove I agree, It's wonderful she has an interest from such a young age but think its important to stick to certain art songs rather than full blown arias for such a young singer. It's very likely she could strain or even damage her voice for life if she pushes too much without proper technique. After all, the human voice continues to develop throughout one's entire life and many female opera singer's voices don;t mature until well into their late twenties and even thirties

Yawn. It’s just too feathery and then pinched in placement . Then the accents on the turns are not even there . There is no rubato either . Everyone is responsive to the tune and her overall sweet tone . But really it’s not enough .
