Low key Jim and Darling probably noticed that Lady was curious about what's been happening and feeling a little left out. Once she met the baby when Jim lifted her up for a better look and Darling pulled back the blanket seeing Lady smile was reassuring and when they pet her that was telling her that they still love her.

One thing I love about this film is the expressiveness of Lady's face, especially when she's confused about the behavior of her owners when they are getting excited about the baby. In this era in Disney animation, animals had much more expressive facial features than they do in many of today's modern CGI films!

Aww poor sweetheart, who was feeling left out when the baby came along. I know Tramp said when the baby moves in, dog moves out which kinda got Lady worried. Honestly the main take away from this scene for me is how many couples completely disregard their dog after a baby comes along. I used to work at a shelter and the amount of couples who dumped their dog after having a baby, even though they got the dog first, is deplorable. If you can't "handle having a baby and a dog" then don't have a baby, you shouldn't just forget about your dog because you're bored with it.
@kinndah25192 жыл бұрын
@Dat Shop No it isn't dumb. You thinking the well being of a dog is that insignificant shows your the type that keeps their dog alone all day and doesn't care. Get a pet sitter to help or split time with a family member or willing friend. You don't just give the dog away let alone to a shelter!!!!! If you don't like that and know you'll have kids...THEN DON'T GET A DOG, simple.

Well the second movie has an Easter egg with a Titanic newspaper and a Carpathia newspaper at the end.Titanic sank in mid April, 1912, and the second movie takes place in July 4th.However, a user on a car forum pointed out that the dogcatcher van in the 2nd film was a 1913 model.This movie ends in Christmas with the puppies already born. In the second film they are teenagers, so that means that a few months have passed between the 1st and 2nd movie. So I would assume the beginning of the movie takes place in Christmas eve/day of 1912, then by the end it's December 24-25, 1912.Then seven months have passed since the Christmas and the Fourth of July, which happens in the second movie.

I wouldn't be surprised. Up until the 60's, early Disney tended to reuse voice actors due to costs and use those who are upcoming when they cannot afford who they wanted. If they were talented like this dude, they'd use them for more than one character. Even today some productions do this.
@Garrettk413 жыл бұрын
@@JaggedBird No. Tramp was Larry Roberts, Jim Lee Millar.
@matthewhedrichjr.54453 жыл бұрын
@@Garrettk41 of course. Lee Millar also voiced a Dogcatcher which makes no sense as I kinda find it out of place for an actor to voice two characters. I know this has nothing to do with Lady and the Tramp, but to let you know in Sleeping Beauty, King Hubert and Lord Duke (Herald) were NOT voiced by the same actor: Bill Thompson ONLY voiced Hubert while Lord Duke’s voice is NEVER confirmed or solved due to Hans Conried’s own replacement by Taylor Holmes for King Stefan’s voice role, though his accent sorta sounds kinda like Conried in higher tone, giving an assumption that Conried might have had his sped to higher pitch while using his normal voice to voice King Stefan for the test recording but will never be solved because of what happened in an almost similar matter to Lee Harvey Oswald’s own assassination by Jack Ruby. The voice of Duke still remains a mystery forever, as with the doctor in this film and Scottie in 101 Dalmatians. We have unanswered questions

If I may pop in, I think we have too few good people and too many selfish, yea. But instead of not wanting kids, you could approach it from a desire to bring better people on the planet - as a parent, the real parent, you'd have so much more potential to put into your kid(s) than if you were an adoption parent. Not saying adoption parents can't do a good job, on the contrary! But they can never truly replace the real parents. Don't worry about what other people do. With the right approach, you can teach your own kids goodness and wisdom - through which they in return will positively affect others around them. Not saying you have to have kids or anything LOL. I'm just saying that there is a positive approach to it as well. Whichever you pick is the one you'll live by.

Just think of how a child would feel when they were told the people they thought were their parents turn out not to be the real parents. Foster parents can still be excellent! I've known friends who are foster parents and they're doing an amazing job and God bless them for it! But I've also noticed their adoption daughter had an occasional problem fitting in knowing about her real mother's tragic fate (China, nuff said). That's not because of anything her foster folks did wrong, it's just they cannot replace the real mother. It's a thing foster kids will learn to live by, and I wish for all foster kids to find a loving home.
