Lagoon 46, the catamaran that everyone likes

The Lagoon 46 comes out in 2019 and is part of the generation of Lagoon catamarans that will develop at the turn of the second decade of the new millennium.
Large boat, but still manageable by a family without the need for a professional crew. The Lagoon 46 is also perfect for charter because, in its version with four cabins and four bathrooms, all the cabins have the same size, and so even the four bathrooms
We tested the boat thank to NSS yachting the boat test centre for lagoon in Marina Cala dei Sardi in north Adriatic see. NSS yachting also runs the second Boat Test Centre for Lagoon in Marina Cala dei Medici, in Tuscany.

Thank you for the French subtitles. Help me when there are some words that I do not understand. This catamaran is exciting. In the video for the Multihull show (in that video no subtitles and only in Italian, which makes following the video very complicated), the interior with light wood is much better than these.

It would be nice to have a video with the Elba 45 compared to this catamaran. It is not easy to decide which one is the best catamaran, Fountaine Pajot or Lagoon

The boom must be 30 feet above the waterline! Sail, so it is impossible.

Sorry to be late in our answer. I agree, that the boom is too high and working on it it is difficult. The problem is that these days most of the cruising catamarans with flybridges have a boom so high because the people ask for the bimini top on the flybridge.

Gabriel, what do you think about the Balì 4.6? Is it a better boat than this?

Sorry to be late in our answer. The Balì 4.6 it is a boat thought for charter purposes, while Lagoon is a halfway, it is good for charter and it is good for private use. Dependent on what you want to do. The choice to do not have a real cockpit on the stern can be a great choice because you have a huge saloon, but if you sail in the Mediterranean where in the summer it is really hot, you want to have an open space very well ventilated, in the Balì, in the cockpit-salon, there is much less ventilation from the side.

that flybridge looks too comfortable. You may fall asleep while piloting that boat.

Lagoon 46 que tout le monde aime ? Et bien désolé mais pas ici... Je reste nconvaincu que ceci est vrai que pour ceux qui n'ont pas essayé d'autres marques, car sinon le seul avantage d'un Lagoon c'est de donner pas mal de confort car ils sont plus larges et plus lourds que la concurrence. Donc pour le cabotage c'est confortable et sympa, pour voyager c'est trop lourd et pas assez toilé comparé à la concurrence... Et puis cet air de camping-car avec ses baies vitrées verticales, c'est vraiment pas beau.

Chaque bateau a son pourquoi. Le Lagoon 46 est un excellent bateau pour ceux qui veulent naviguer, passer beaucoup de temps au port et qui recherchent beaucoup de confort à un certain prix. Il existe d'autres bateaux qui proposent des choses différentes à des prix différents. Il y a un catamaran pour chaque marin.

@@solovelanet Il est clair que chacun trouvera bateau à son goût et je n'ai pas dit que les Lagoon étaient de mauvais bateaux... Par contre dans la vidéo il est dit qu'il n'est pas trop lourd... C'est pourtant le plus lourd de sa catégorie ! Il est dit qu'il est assez toilé, mais c'est le moins toilé de sa catégorie... Pas besoin de philosopher des heures, il suffit de comparer les fiches techniques (par exemple le Lagoon 46 pèse 16.6T, le Saona 47 que 14T, le Bali 48 15.3... Et on ne parle pas de ratio poids/voiles sinon c'est encore pire...) ! Alors oui, certains marins trouveront le Lagoon très bien pour leur utilisation et c'est tant mieux, mais est-ce réellement la peine de trouver aux Lagoon des qualités qu'ils n'ont pas ? Confort Ok, habitabilité OK, agréables à vivre, plutôt bien finis, etc. Mais pour ce qui est de la vitesse sous voile ce sont sans conteste possible les moins alertes sous voiles, même les Bali font mieux c'est pour dire.
