Great video, thanks! I'm a novice tile guy who decided to purchase this back in November largely based on the review on this channel as there weren't a ton of reviews elsewhere and wasn't disappointed. I did a master bath floor (8x8 porcelain) shower walls (white ceramic subway) and a mosaic porcelain shower floor. The cuts are about the same as what I'd get from a wet saw, so not perfect but can be cleaned up. I also purchased the Montolit Minipiuma, which I'd never used before, but found myself using the IQ for the vast majority of the job. I can't tell you how much nicer it is to have a good tile saw 2' away from me at all times as opposed to walking 50' down stairs, outside in the Michigan winter, and into a cold garage to cut tile. It's a beautiful looking saw and honestly, it's built like something you'd see in a machine shop...very sturdy and heavy duty with no slop whatsoever. So thanks again for your earlier review, you helped me purchase this expensive but very worthwhile piece of equipment! Also, would you please consider a video on grout if you haven't already done one? I did a quick search and didn't see one. I run into problems like improper coverage and black grout not bleeding, but coming off when rubbed with fingers. Grout is the one part of the job that still worries me. Thanks!

How does it perform when shaving only a blade width off? On a wet saw you can press the blade with fingers but not on this. Is it really disks enough to be safe indoors? You can see some dust in the videos. Thanks for the review!

Slow as molasses to rip a 3ft tile so your not actually saving any time by not dealing with water. The 10in rigid saw is 300$ does a fantastic job and you don't have to shell out 2 grand and the headache of finding the 100 plus dollar blade that no major retailers carry. I've been laying tile for 10 years, this saw is not worth the money.

Exact reason i bought ours michigan cold winters. I thought i would only use it then. But my wet saws collecting dust in the barn. Hasnt moved all year even summer , u can set this up in the same room in 5 minutes, no walking in and out of the house , no mess, no water, saves work time cuts great. Only thing i use water saw for any more is glass tile. And my 7 inch small old saw does that when needed.

Haven't tried porcelain yet, definitely better than my old blade it was worn more than I thought once I got my new ones , lol. Old 1 was getting hot alot . This one cuts better all around. Bought one yesterday. Test cut porcelain tonight with orange and grey blade. Cut quality was awful and chipped out with either blade. Slate cut well, but I set mostly porcelain so I'd rather have cold hands in the winter than hand sand EVERY cut with a diamond pad. Returning it tomorrow. Want you to know I watch all your videos and appreciate them as a tile guy, but in the future you may want to show an actual close up of all the cuts. Like really close up. Its fine for hidden cuts, but anything up to a profile strip would be unacceptable by my customers. Will put my $ into a higher quality manual (Montolit) and deal with the water. Just my opinion. To each his own.

You need to slow down and let blade season. I found a similar result out of showroom and found the tech at the tool store installed blade improperly. Had to buy new table veins. But once you get use to running the tile it cuts ceramics the best IMHO. I don’t think I have ever had to polish a ceramic. Sorry you had a bad experience it’s a great saw in the winter

@@jeremyruss2407 I use an MK wet saw, and the I find the quality of it to be very high, excellent tool to use. I agree with your comments, very accurate. I watched this saw on a large commercial project and it performed very well. My experience is this review is dead-on accurate, I would encourage more maintenance of the filter and keeping the machine clean for those working in nice finished spaces. I might recommend using different blades for different applications, as I do with my wet saw; some of us are natural blade changers with all our tools.
