Much easier and cheaper to use Ajax or Comet in a wet paper towel or sponge. Rub it back and forth a few times and its good as new

Sounds like a good tip! Not heard of that one. What kinda products are those? Not heard of those in the UK but we probably have something similar. Worth knowing incase I'm without it! That said it's really cheap, like £4-5 and probably even less in the states. All the best mate. Thanks for watching. Andy

Wonder what to use in the little rods in a little pocket Lansky sharpeners? This looks too big to get in the V grooves!

Maybe you can dismantle it so you can get access to them?
