Although I don't agree with the overall diet recommendations (I have been doing keto/carnivore for about 8 mo with phenomenal results) I really appreciate the info on fasting. I do 18/6 intermittent fasing almost daily and have done probably 10 or so 3 day fasts as well as some shorter and one 5 day. Several of the 3 day fasts were done when travelling to family emergencies and I can't tell you the freedom I felt in being able to deal with the matters at hand and NOT having to worry about my food. The mental clarity and energy have been great. A year ago (and 55 lbs ago) I could not have imagined fasting at all. I have shoulder pain that disappeared after my first 3 day fast and I always feel so good when fasting. I highly recommend it. Thank you for the interview.

Thanks for your thoughts and experience with fasting. I have done intermittent fasting for 2 1/2 years eating 4 hours and fasting 20. I have been keto but plan on switching to meat AND sauerkraut and two types of kimchi. I will also try water only fasting first 1 day and build up.

I agree with you. When I had COVID a month ago I couldn’t keep anything down. Instead of seeing it as a concerning thing I saw it as a great chance to fast, and like you said, not have to worry about meals & shopping. I suspect my attitude change helped with my fast recovery, ability to sleep, & feeling joy in my heart (even while tossing my stomach contents. Seriously, after 2 days, what on earth is coming up still!?) After hearing this talk I’m looking forward to a 5 or more day water fast.

I’m SO impressed with you and your interviews🤗🥩💐‼️ In a genius way you are quiet and let your guests speak, and you almost always asks the questions that I am thinking about while I’m listening. And your patience in conversations like this 😁 He raises his voice (when the arguments are weak?) and you stay calm 💙 I have tried to find places like his in Sweden 🇸🇪 where I live or in countries nearby but whiteout success. I have done 3 days of fasting in my home but I have always said that it would much easier to do a longer fast away from home and under the supervising. Your last question about if someone who doesn’t agree with their diet is welcome was spot on😊 THANK YOU SO MUCH 🤗

I absolutely love this guy! I have used his protocol as a debunking agent on all the vegan sites ,and anyone plant based. Look at what he is doing. HE IS CLUELESS!!!! He is putting people on a carnivore diet for forty days and he is ecstatic over the results. Forty day's, eating no carbs, no grains ,no fruit ,and no veggies, surviving only on their own body fat stores! Some one might say ,well it can't be carnivore, they don't eat meat! Yes, that's true, BUT, they are burning FAT, no glucose except the five grams that their liver makes, FROM THEIR OWN FAT, and their body is auto pushing the proteins. That's a carnivore diet! And this guy, as well as all the vegan sites that have interviewed him, don't see it. They think this protocol is great, because of the results, which are carnivore results! The bad part of it is that after he gets someone ,healthy, ON A CARNIVORE DIET, he then starts them back up on a plant based eating plan. But, he did mention that some people have to do the plan more than once. SEE HOW THAT WORKS!!! Keep them smiling and coming back!

As a post menopausal woman whose weight had crept up, I had thought my 'sausage' shape vs former hourglass was a thing of the past. Not so. I'm well back into hourglass, at my ideal lean weight. Dr. Hammer you are right on with eating the best quality no matter what the food. I am a 78 year old example and enjoy a good cigar, good drink, and fresh fruit desert. Have fasted on Saturdays only for many years. Most vegans I know are sickly. Have lost 24 friends since 2022. Have 7 friends that are in various stages of dementia. These 7 friends are heavy consumers of ice cream. The food quality sold in 99% of restaurants is not fit for human consumption period.

Fasting regenerating the body recipe from my colleague, a Biocyberneticist biologist. During the first fasting day, we should cleanse the intestines o deposits (castor oil). Every day we swallow at; 9.00, 12.00, 15.00 vitamins plus microelements , Coenzyme Q10, Omega 3. Each fasting day you drink 4 liters of fluids a day - two teaspoons of salt, 4 x calcium, 4 tablespoons of home-made honey. Every evening at 6 p.m. drink half a liter of laxative herbs. This will remove daily bile proced by the liver and panreatic enzymes . After fasting is over, it is important to inoculate the bacterial flora properly. Failure to do so will quickly silt up the intestines and block the absorption at the level of the blood vessels.

check out No Carb Life channel for testimony from regular folks...carbs are not your friend if you have diabetes/obesity. Many diabetes reversal channels still don't get it (or just can't give up vices so they make excuses to include some carbs). There is no such thing as an "essential" carbohydrate since our body will make all the glucose it needs for optimal function.

My hair fell out, hormones tanked, developed SIBO from all the carbs, & lost muscle & bone mineral (diagnosed with osteoporosis). 10 years later at age 66, I tried quality, grass-fed carnivore as a last resort: Hormones & hair came back, SIBO gone, & now finally building muscle & bone back 💪. To sum up 2 hours in a few words because I slept to midways: If you don't eat the body starts eating itself. You know the order. Just google it. It takes about three days of hell for a lifetime of heaven to reach ketosis. What a lot of people don't understand is that the first three days are the hardest and they conclude that water fasting is impossible, risky and bullshit. One would think that the longer you go the harder it gets but that's not the case because when reaches ketosis the body no longer is hungry or has freak out, spaz out or whatever. It has found a large surplus of fuel. Your fat stores. So if you do decide to do water fasting just keep in mind that the first three days are going to suck like vacuum cleaner and your mind will do everything it can to talk you out of it. My personal method is to sleep through those three days and just rest. Close all technology and go into hibernation. Also, consider the world record of water fasting to put things in perspective. Angus Barbie water fasted for a bit longer than a year. The majority of people throw in the towel in those first three days so be mentally prepared. Good luck and take care :D

@@johnmartinsen963 Of course not. But that is not what I wrote. I wrote that most doctors tell patient to cut sugar, stop smoking, less salt, saturated fats, proccessed food and start exersizing before putting them on meds. Or if they give some blood pressure lowering meds if the patients have really high they tell tgem the other stuff as well. That patients then dont do it and just keep with the meds... well that is not the doctor. Also if you stick to exersize yes then you usually get results. Also running is the worst exersize if you want to loose weight, lower blood pressure. And it should of course be coupled with a better diet. But both better diet without exersize and exersize with bad diet gives result. And best result is of course in combination. I mean all above is a no brainer. And most people know it.
