Lath, I'm gonna be real with ya, you have essentially designed a missile shaped craft that fires missiles from missile bays that defends itself with fake missiles from missiles bays which propels itself like a missile through missile infested waters... Missile spam at its finest.

While the ordinance is respectable, I'm being informed if this is an Orky 'Dakka Zub' as those markings would suggest, it should be purple, (as opposed to the current blue) or else it won't be stealthy enough in order to be effective. My counterpart has said: "Wat iz yoo finkin' Lafrick!? Needz MOAR PURPLE, For MOAR STEALFY! Ya' Git!"

For next season I’d really like to see you import a Coffin Nail, and then upgrade it throughout the season into a Lathryxian abomination with sub-objects circling around you.

I always love seeing large, slow firing advanced cannons, that look like a proper battleship turret. Maybe a ridiculous 8m, 500mm double or triple barrel turret? Maybe with all segments being warhead, and only being propelled by rail charge? Basically just lobbing shell-shaped bombs at the enemy :D

If you change the paint scheme from blue to red it would fit with the orc signs because red equals faster

Oversized Railgun, not too fast firing and the biggest ammo you can make. :D

I was disappointed to see the particle cannon go, and I'm not sure what other weapon could cause that much damage that fast. I'd like to see it return as a primary weapon, but in the end, the choice is yours.

Regarding the missiles, could you make a huge one that would be stored horizontally(maybe between the lines of large ones) but then fired at like a 45-90° angle? It's been a while since I played the game, so I'm not sure if you'd use a turret block or whatever, but I definitely want this craft to carry one doomsday ICBM before the series is all over! :D Edit: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jayGZqmG0brekac.html make it happen!

A good concept for the new main weapon, in my opinion, would be a massive railgun with the highest possible caliber, highest possible power output, able to fire underwater of course, and - just as a big ol middle finger to logic... Graviton rams. That or go for impact, either way deleting enemy vehicles from existence in some manner.

I'm pretty sure that this has been your longest running vehicle that you have continuously upgraded that has stuck to the original idea. Unlike your past adventure mode flying ship sub.

Why not add all of your creations into your spawnable enemies so you can fight against them in the future? Or battle royal it?

Could you have an ACB that lights up or changes the colour of a lamp when enemy is in range? That would save some trouble looking around for enemies. As for the main gun, any ridiculously oversized advanced cannon is a good one.

Wait... did Lath learn of Anti-Torp-Torps from one of my comments or reddit thread tutorials? Lathrix, just make sure to use the special Weapon Controller that multiplies Damage of anti-cram/missile weapons (the one the game tells you about for anti-missile advanced cannons), it works with anti-missiles too, multipliying the damage of the anti-missile missiles. that way you can take down even the biggest torps/missiles.

Would be interesting to see a 400mm super railgun as a main weapon. Or a return to the old age and bring back something like the shotgun/burst railguns from the old adventure mode series.

maybe do a neter campain where your goal is to create the superweapon - your most resent adventure mode ship

No one can match lathrix for his destruction factor. Not only does he execute it well, he embraces it in his personality, and that is something I admire

I usually build my subs with torps and Pacs, so I'd suggest bringing back the spine mounted pac. "How does smoke even work underwater" - Yeah Lathrix as if Lasers aint even weaker underwater already, just add smoke defense to make them even more of a joke underwater :D

If you were to stand the sub on its nose it kinda looks like the tower of some Tolkien villain. Also I say, as far as which weapons to build next, become the hammer of god. A really cranky god that hasn't had their morning caffeine and woke up to a flat tire.

Those icon you have on your sub are Orkish not Chaos, But it could work, you just need to remeber the Orks Colour rules: Red means speed, which is why Blood Angels have tanks with the Fast rule. (Speed Freakz) Green being their skin color, it's automatically the best. Blue is the color of luck to an Ork, which often translate to avoiding injuries or finding better loot. (Deff Skullz) Black is considered tough, hard to kill, capable of shrugging extreme damage. (Goffs) Purple has become sort of a joke/meme amongst the Ork community, since nobody has ever seen a purple Ork. Yellow is the color of their teef, which is the Ork currency, more currency = better weapons = more flash, also believed that yellow rockets make the biggest explosions. (Bad Moons) White is death, the color of bones.

You might not always be satisfied by it (and that can be a good thing because it makes you experiment and learn more every time) but I think you've made a lot of progress and your style keeps refining over the time, kudos. Fear the power of the lego sub! Hey Lathrix! If your trying to make a compact missile defense system that can target in multiple directions try mounting them to a turret and setting up an anti-munition controller on it. If your using wireless missile systems you can put the missile controller/s on another turret controlled by a anti-munition controller as well and it will aim, fire, and avoid the need for acb's. This also allows you to set your anti-missiles to to specific types of targets so you can have small ones for small targets, and med for medium, etc... the same way you can cal a CIWS

Your vehicles look so good. Mine are SO terrible. Super fun though. This series dragged me back into FtD a few months ago. My flying sub got to Diff 55 and got smashed like a toy. Time to refit to a proper sub, no more flying. Thanks for the content, always fun!

what I do to make vertically launched missiles look really cool is by setting a delay on targeting maneuver and thrust on the missile (using ejector add ons to get height) then after 3 seconds activate one turn and after 5 seconds activate the thrust. this makes the missile shoot into the air, out of the water, and then speed up really quickly and it also means you can speed the missile up as less fuel is wasted on turning. anyway, nice vid.

Granted, I could only do an approximation of a Borg Cube in FtD so far - but it floated...somewhat. Your Sub here gave me SeaQuest Flashbacks - if only SeaQuest had the appropriate amount of (you guessed it!) Dakka! Keep up the good work! An interesting idea for the future would be a melee sub with a drone escort that specializes in harpooning enemies and dragging them into the deep and into the waiting sub's maw

I vote that you go all in for missiles and make your main weapon a massive nuclear subvehicle missile! You can probably just take your old nuke and remake it so that it is bigger... and works under water... and recalibrate the PIDs... and... ... ... no that's it... maybe? My vote is a Massive PAC using a vertical or long range lenses and 1km of tubing on each input. 😁

Go to a hundred after nailing the final form. Could you do a video with the other Adventure series crafts side by side. They all look awesome. Never mind Blackbeard, it's Lathrix I don't want to meet on the sea (or in the air for just to cover that too). You could also consider using community polls for such questions if you have other matters to attend to and want specific answers. Love the From the Depths videos, and the adventure seasons are the best of the bunch. Also kind of like the relaxed atmosphere you have on this channel where it's okay to make mistakes as long as you learn and move forward. On that note, I think I have been following you for 4-5 years maybe or more? Can't remember, and good job getting here!

Is it just me or would be it be kinda funny if, just for a laugh, after "beating" max difficulty, to just go through a bunch of green portals and absolutely decimate some lower difficulty crafts, sort of showing just how much more powerful the ship has become?

I have seen all weapon possibilities except a rail gun that fires 1k rounds a minute and shoots straight through 3 beams of heavy armor. Someone said it is possible but building such a beast is beyond me SO I vote for that. An insanely fast firining rail gun that shoots straight through the bow to stern!

I think small gatling-gun like turrets positioned around the craft that target missiles and torpedoes would be really interesting. Probably not recourse efficient though. And a huge torpedo just straped to the bottom would be hilarious 🤣

On the ACB control settings to fire anti-torps if you see torps, you can set it so it only fires if you see torps and it will ignore missiles entirely even if you *can* see the missiles.

new challenge, floating melee drill platform. primary weapon has to be an extendable drill/ram/sawblade that deploys directly down from a floating platform, this obviously limits flying height to make it viable, and may have to be retractable to get through portals

In reguards to your asking what weapon to use... My suggestion is this: 120mm Railgun, 2m autoloaders, 16 segment shell, 1 AP head, 1 solid body, 1 he body, 1 pen fuse, 3 railgun casings. Give it 3500 energy boost. works just as good as an offensive gun as it does as a heavy ciws. adding a supercavitation piece and another railgun casing, then tweaking the energy use would allow it to work underwater. Not the most powerful, but satifying to use.

heh. A submarine. A war vehicle whose purpose is to sneak across the seas and assassinate larger ships, provide recon, and support other vessels, and in modern times, a strike vessel. Overall, a smart captain can put a submarine to good use. The banner on the side: WAAAAAGH!!
